Yeah I think I need to test drive the 4S and the higher models and see if the power is worth it. There’s a lot of extras to miss out on for the sake of an extra 100 or so horsepower. Which to many may be sacrilege to say but I think it’s a personal decision as to what’s more importantWith the caveat that I've only driven the pre-facelift models, I bought a Turbo having tested a 4S not because I thought the 4S lacking, more that I wanted to know I could turn everything up to 11 whenever the opportunity presented itself. There was a significant difference in performance potential, but 99% of the time it's more a matter of how much restraint on the accelerator is required to stay safe/legal/sensible with regard to road and traffic conditions. Especially now that the 4S has upgraded performance I'd recommend testing that, preferably with cars specced with different performance options (some of which come as standard with the higher trims), as you may well find them more of a real-world benefit than extra power.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!
Thank you! Seems a genuinely nice forum to be a part of so far
