Your perspective definitely sparked my interest... How worse was your range? Would you remember the figures?I have a CT4S and a colleague has a CT4.
I have roof rails and the electric charge ports and we have the same wheels in winter.
His range is way better than mine.
So for the next one, even if I love the 4S acceleration, I might opt for the 4 as range is more important to me as the speed of the CT4 is enough even in Germany
He has often more than 400km range even in winter.Your perspective definitely sparked my interest... How worse was your range? Would you remember the figures?
You got exactly as much participation as every similar thread on picking options, models, body styles etc. - which is to say most forum members have an opinion.Ok, so, after almost 3 pages of contributions (thanks for the help by the way, I wasn't expecting such a turnout), the pros of each car would be:
CT
Safer and more convenient daily (ACC)
More amenities (Pano Roof and Chrono thingy pack)
More carrying capacity (roof bars that can't be fitted afterwards)
More range
CT 4S
More power
Based on that list, the answer should be easy, right? Well, it still isn't...
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
By “safety feature,” I think you’re referring to the alert and then automatic braking that occurs if you close in too quickly on the car in front of you. That feature exists on every Taycan, I understand, whether or not it’s equipped with ACC. It’s called Warning & Brake Assist (WBA). OP: you might confirm that it’s included on any non-ACC Taycan that you’re considering.Tough choice but there is no way I would buy one without ACC. I have had it in my last three Porsches as well as the equivalent in my Defender and I would absolutely not buy a car without it. It’s not just a convenience feature, it is a safety feature. I also really love the roof so not having the panoramic roof would be an issue for me
There isn’t a bad pick - these cars are simply wonderful to drive.Ok, so, after almost 3 pages of contributions (thanks for the help by the way, I wasn't expecting such a turnout), the pros of each car would be:
