Wrong configuration ordered

So car due for collection next
week. It appears the SA has ordered wrong configuration

I placed order and revised on his recommendation adding:

- windscreen with grey top line
- 16 setting sports seats
- battery plus
- personalised floor mats with leather edging
- personalised reversible luggage mat.

All above missed ! either accept or he will reorder car !

offered free bodycare and dash cam at moment, doesn’t seem adequate really.

The Performance battery plus would be the deal breaker for me, not sure what I would do, what they are offering is not at all adequate.

The regular 14 way seats are very nice as well, the windscreen tint can be done aftermarket. missing the personalized mats would be disappointing, but can possibly be ordered after the fact.

I think the only missing option that is problematic is PB+... unless the lower range of the standard battery isn't an issue for you AND you won't own the vehicle, so won't be impacted by its resale value, I'd decline it. I'd guess that PB+ is a #1 requirement for most 4S buyers.

Really unsure may accept the car, I will own it, the lower battery capacity doesn’t really bother me……

I didn’t get the PB+. It adds around 30 miles so I saved £4K and got other options.
If you have a charger installed at home and you don’t commute too far it’s not essential IMO. But like I said it depends on these circumstances mentioned.

Yes, it will affect the resale price.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy a Taycan without the bigger battery. It not only adds range, but also better performance.

0-60 times will be the same, all above those speeds will be faster for pb+ vehicles. So overtaking at 50miles an hour will be easier in a pb+ vehicle

if you can live with the smaller battery (and can be appropriately compensated) then you might consider taking the car.

A 4S without PB+ will definitely appeal to fewer potential buyers, but I suppose the key question is, will that result in a return that will cost you more than the premium you'd have to have paid for the PB+ option.

I agree. Why wait for a rebuild. Save your money, enjoy the car and have a great road trip.

I would reject it. I never trust a dealer. I had mine print screen shots of the spec from the Porsche Order system before the order was locked.
