After thinking about it for far too long, I took the plunge and bought a set of Zun Sport grills last week.
https://www.zunsport.com/porsche-taycan-outer-grille-set

They needed a little persuasion to fit - the inners needed a very firm push - maybe the J1.2 aperture is slightly different.
But once fitted, I think they look great.

They were very well packaged, but the quality control missed a few very sharp burrs which I had to remove.

For the price, I’d given them a 9 out of 10. And if it stops damage to a radiator, then they’ll be a 10 :)

Over almost 6 years of use on two J1's, they have done the job is style. They have held up much better than I expected.

I have them too. To be honest, I don't like the looks. I removed them and will refit before longer roadtrips. Roads in the Netherlands are ok-enough to drive without the protection.

I thought I saw someone post a video not too long ago but can’t find it now. I got mine but haven’t had a chance to install them yet.

I'm sure I have read either here on the forums or elsewhere on some FB owners groups that some OPC's frown at owners fitting these, claiming they could invalidate warranty claims.......which I find odd. Reduction in airflow was cited to be the reasoning behind the 'may invalidate your warranty' I believe.

Almost a Catch 22 situation - dont fit and risk an errant stone clattering into the radiators.....Do fit, and protect the radiator from stone damage, but potentially end up with warranty issues 🤔

More Porsche warranty nonsense, although to be fair I'm not sure I like the looks of the grills anyway! But you can't argue against the protection they afford.

Likely to be dealership bollocks given they come as standard on some GT cars which need cooling more than most 🤞

I wanted to get them but they quickly responded that they do not make a set for the GTS.
What year is your GTS as I bought mine in 2023 and installed them on my 2023 GTS ST. I agree with the OP that they fit a bit tight and I had to carefully work them into place but they been on since and never an issue.

They absolutely do fit a J1.1 GTS. Had them on my 2023 GTS. J1.2 might be a problem but J1.1 should not be.

I have a set on my 2020 4 S. I view them as cheap insurance to keep stones out of the radiators. My dealer has said nothing about their presence on my car.

Zunnsport grills will block between 10-20 percent of the area it is protecting. I would think that the debris they prevent is greater for cooling than the grills restriction. Over the years, I never read one Porsche owner that indicated a rise in coolant temp due to using these grills. My GT3 has grills that are very similiar and they are designed for use on the circuit.

Told “no” (“we do not make it for that model”) when I email inquired for a 2026 GTS (still waiting to order my 2027 GTS), i.e., they made them for GTS J.1’s but are not for J1.2’s.
