I received my CT4 2 weeks ago (built 2/25) and the honeymoon is not over yet. The only glitch I've noticed so far is the missing Charging Planner in the nav. Whenever I planned a long trip, the PCM will show a negative battery% upon destination without adding charging stops. I started a thread and so far there are 4 of us with '22 built after mid-January having the same problems in the forum:

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/missing-charging-planner.10311/

I have reached out to Porsche support and they are currently looking into it. The contact person at Porsche support has been surprisingly responsive to my emails, so I thought to help him gather some data from the forum to help him and in turn help everyone with the same problem. Please kindly check whether you have the charging planner in your nav. I suspect there are many of us out there. To check, you click on navigation, then the 3 dots at the down right corner, there should be "route options" or "charging planner" depending on the version of your PCM. If you have "route options", look for charging planner as a submenu.

@Pandsw same build date as yours. started on 2/10, ended on 2/25, no charging planner. Naively, I thought I had to add the charging stations myself to get it to appear on the route guidance.

From the poll so far, it appears the Charging Planner should be a standard option for all MY's. The question remains whether people who spec'd PIRM for their '22 also has their charging planners missing... But thanks everyone for responding.

"planner" is really being used liberally here. Its not very planner-ish.

@alboogie7 , what month was your '22 built?

What happens when you set a destination say like 500 miles away? Does it add charging stops or show a negative battery% at destination, despite having PIRM?

The main thing I am looking to get out of it is to set the SOC at my final destination. Right now, it seems to always default to 13%, and there's no way to change it. More importantly, it does NOT pre-heat the main battery either no matter how far I drove it to the destination.

Does your PCM nav add charging stops then? MyPorsche app does add charging stops but I cannot change destination SOC. My PCM nav won't add charging stops and I just end up with a negative battery% at the destination.

Both add a charging stop, but I haven't tried a farther destination to see if they stops. I should try that later. But, having adding a single stop, it ends up setting my final SOC to 13% on two trips I've done.

PIRM is standard equipment as is Charging Planner in UK and likely other markets.

The results of the poll will therefore be skewed as the only response can be "No, standard spec in my country" which is missing.

The missing planner function sounds like another temporary glitch similar to the missing setting for max speed in Range drive mode which several of us have experienced.

That's interesting. My PCM nav does not add charging stops at all...
