September 2022 deliveries

VW export schedule was updated. Platinum Ray and Glovis Corona are not even on it.
Seems they are focussing on the East Coast and Gulf Coast, with no love for the West Coast yet.

Platinum Ray has just arrived at Emden, let's see if anyone reported that their car has been loaded on it.

Was looking around, and it seems it does appear under the Hyundai Glovis line. Seems all the Glovis ships got moved there - they're probably still shipping VW/Porsche cars, but technically it's owned by the broader Hyundai conglomerate that does shipping? Perhaps it's because they decided only the Hyundai Glovis shipping Co is now going to do west coast deliveries

Yesterday my TYD pushed mine back to Ready for Transport, and location to the Porschewerk holding area that everyone else is in. I guess we'll find out by end of this week if our cars get on the Platinum Ray... Would love if it did since means my car would arrive at the dealer probably late Sept which isn't too much of a delay, vs. the next Glovis Corona ship which would mean early Nov to dealer

My dates just got moved up for a week . The delivery date was 11/11/2022 now it’s 11/04/2022z start production date was 10/14/2022 now it’s 09/30/2022 I am thrilled ?

Will be interesting to see if other East Coast cars are delivered before mine. Mine has completed production on 7/22 and has a delivery date now of 11/25,,,,

Thanks for sharing. Hoping that the most recent TYD jockeying is because they plan on delivering sooner. Looks like there are a couple of opportunities to send it in September if they can manage to get a 12V battery soon.

Well according to vesselfinder, platinum ray has now departed Emden. I guess for us west coast guys if our TYD hasn't updated with on vessel, we're locked into at least another month of delay unless there's an undisclosed vessel between now and Glovis Corona

Congrats! Happy for you, know your car has been completed since early July. I guess it looks like at least they're slowly getting 12v batteries into cars, so given mine entered production a few weeks after yours, I guess I should hopefully expect to be on the next Sept boat for delivery in late Oct / early Nov. Better than the current mid Dec estimate at least

finally saw a change after a looong time. I was Arrived at Emden Port on 4/12 up until yesterday when it suddenly changed to Arrived at Emden Port 8/24. I can just picture some guy wandering around the lot going 'hey, did we miss this one? wonder how long its been here..."

It says 'on vessel' date is 9/2, which doesn't line up with anything going to Houston exactly. However, the Violet Ace at Emden now is heading to Houston so hoping for the best. Could use some good news after all this time (was supposed to hit Dealership ~4/15 originally).

No changes to my 2022 Taycan's status, it's in that same warehouse as most of ours, and still has an ETA in December... but I did receive an e-mail from Porsche with my future VIN number letting me know that there's an "Important free Software Update Now Available at Your Porsche Dealer" and I should take my 2022 in to get this new 2023 software... Too funny.

+1. I too received the same email and also my TYD status still shows your car is scheduled for Production (original date of completion was 22nd July).

At this point, I am unsure whether I want to get a 2022 model in Dec 2022. Still debating.

Same here. New to this forum. 4SCT completed production 7/19. Has been in transit to Emden since. Latest update is estimated on ship 11/4 with delivery 11/25. East coast USA. Interestingly port of entry shows as Baltimore. My last car came in through Davisville.
