Who will receive the first MY23?

Have a RWD MY23 scheduled according to TYD arriving at an East Coast dealer on 11/11/22. Very hopeful this timeline holds.
Originally had a MY22 car destroyed on a ship following the Felicity Ace ship. That car was due at the dealer in 04/22.

I would take a cracked but waterproof Pano as 'deliverable' - but no 12v means it would just be a nice shed to sit in - a step too far for me! (just)...

I guess I'll be the same on the pano but really hope I never have to face that. Reading have a few which have been replaced multiple times. I'd just worry about long term liability out of warranty but I guess there is a good case to say warranty is 6 years under European law and roof has never been fit for purpose?

IF EU law still applies in a couple years . - fingers crossed we don't face that messing around - life (at my age) is just too short for that crap.

Luckily the Consumer rights are enshrined in UK law, unless the acts are repealed. 6 years other than Scotland which is 5 years.

My allocation for my 2023 Taycan RWD was May 2022 and just got an email stating my car is complete. TYD shows 11/11 when it will hit my dealership in Austin.

Just got the big update done on my 2022. It is like having a 2023 model. At least it feels like it. So much improvement.

A lot of us MY23s are going to be in production this week, so it's just a matter of who lives closest to Zuffenhausen? I suspect someone in the south of Germany will be first!

Fair comment. This will also tell us something about Porsche’s battery allocation strategy as well.

Given all that has happened this year, I am very curious to see who will be the first to check-in with the first MY23 delivery. Also curious as to whether the MY23 deliveries will occur while many are still waiting for their MY22.

I suspect that it would hard for Porsche to get all of the MY22’s delivered before the MY23 begins delivery but if they are significantly out of sequence, that could be annoying.

There was a thread on here somewhere, with a chap with a MY23 build last week of July (week 30). Before the factory holiday shutdown.

If dealers get MY23’s into inventory before MY22 orders are filled, that is not good.
