I live in France and my 12KW supply is very limiting. I have Enedis/EDF coming on 18th to check if I can go to 3 phase. EDF say I cannot go higher than my 12KVA 12KW on single phase. Apparently the cost to go 3 phase is 153 euros so not crazy. But I'm in rural France so it might not be available. If it is then I will go for it of course. I will then be able to have 18KW or 24KW. However....

Firstly do I stick to using the PMCC only or should I consider having a charge point? Some people have advised I only use the PMCC so then just need a power socket in the garage.

If single phase is the only option all I need a 32A blue 3 pin socket in the garage then I will get up to 7.2KW charging. If I can upgrade to 3 phase I will then need a 16A 3 phase 5 pin red socket in the garage to get up to 11kw charging.

Thanks all. Just need to know what to ask Enedis to quote for.

Sorry to bother you again

All houses in Sweden have a three phase connection. Based on the demand, the main fuse can be 16A, 20A, 25A or in rare cases 32A.

In our case, we have 25A in both houses and as of now I have one charge point with fixed cable in each house. Aside from My Porsche, I can manage these charge points independently by its own App.

Personally, I would highly recommend separate installed charging point preferably with build in cable. Less hassle and 100% reliable.

Do you use the PMCC all the time?

I have the PMCC and have it mounted in the Porsche Dock connected to a 32A single phase supply for 7.4kW of juice.

You will need 32A regardless - don't swap the standard 32A supply cable for the red one - that would be a mistake.

I do not use it as a portable unit - no point in using a 2 pin / 3 pin plug unless you have idle days to spend charging (I think I mentioned this before on your very original thread, right?).

I would stick the with the PMCC and use the industrial connector to connect to your wall connector (receptacle). If you need to take the PMCC + cables with you on your travels you can - easy to unhook but takes up quite some space in the boot.

BTW, my wall chargers are of course connected to 3-phase and with 20 -25A provides 10-11 kW, which is just perfect for charging in the house.

I use only PMCC (on 3phases, 400V, 16A).

Thanks. I've included the wall bracket in my config for 144 euros. I went through the config with the sales guys and he added the leads so I have for charging these below. What's your thoughts?

The PMCC of course
150kw onboard charger for DC free
No 22kw so limited to 11kw AC excluded
7.5m charge cable free
Type 2 mode 3 cable 300 euros
32A 3 pin blue plug cable free
32A 5 pin red plug cable not free - I will need this also is I can get 3 phase supply to the house but can only have this or the one above.

If I am stuck on 12KVA single phase I will go for the PHEM unit 552 euros to manage the load.

Btw: with PMCC, there comes some holder that could be mounted on the wall.

Looks fine to me. Just maybe ask for the 16 A 5 pin red plug since you will not need 32 A? But maybe you are thinking for some future and want to have it connected to a 32 amp supply?

It looks like they have packaged this separately in the configurator in France now. I also had it included in 2020 but now they seem to have broken it in two parts.

The PMCC is included but you only get one free lead. So I will need a single and 3 phase lead.

There is a small wall braket 144 euros and a large box for the wall to put the PMCC in which is 400 euros. So I've added the small bracket

I got simple holder, but it’s not for outside, i guess.
And i got 3phase and 1phase connector as well.
I’m not going to say - for free - since nothing is free @Porsche :giggle: , but they were included.
