But imagine if the refresh ends being major and we end with something like:

Looks like Honda bought the rights to the Gremlin… vinyl bench seat and all.

Well that's the prototype...

The production version ended being this

I guess taste is very subjective.
The modification of the side hood lines fu***d up the whole design. And many other smaller ones.

You can always be waiting for a newer model. Porsche tends not to do anything too drastic as they don't want to hurt residual values. Just get what you can now, or wait potentially 12 months for a newer model.

The price is likely to go up as well for MY24.

No longer awaiting a 4CT

Happily, we were faced with this question last Friday. We were second in line for a 4CT allocation and the party ahead of us declined. We accepted.

This car is going to be my wife's daily driver and she doesn't like the look of the supposed refreshed front end, she feels it's lost its Taycan distinctiveness.

There's likely to be a price increase that may be the difference between getting something like massage seats or not.

The 23 is a refined version of the original Taycan with most of the issues already addressed. Along with the refinements and fixes the 23 has, the 24 is almost certain to come with new and exciting issues.

There's our thought process, but the choice is going to depend on what aspects you value.

Maybe a hint from Cayenne refresh: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a42487659/2024-porsche-cayenne-prototype-drive/

Pricing and the full gamut of specs won't be released until the wraps come off and the 2024 Cayenne is formally introduced later this year. All Porsche will say at this point is the prices will be "on par with the predecessor model when adjusted for equipment." This may be code for a possibly significant increase for the base Cayenne, which now gets standard PASM, LED matrix headlights, 20-inch wheels, the mode switch on the steering wheel, and other goodies.
Seems a standard steering wheel mode switch is decoupled from Sport Chrono clock/compass option.

Active (and standard) LED matrix lights for US maybe?

nothing interesting... yet

I came here to vent and saw this thread. Just got a call from my SA... they were told PCNA has stopped doing PTS for the MY. If I want my speed yellow, I have to wait till MY24. Honestly, the only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted that freaking color.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I totally get the comments about there always being something newer still around the corner.

For me personally I did decide to defer, but that was at least half a personal timing decision since I was planning on having the car later this year vs in the first quarter.
