PS:
Launch Control Count: Interesting that the app showed the count of Launches the car has had. I have been attempting these but only once the screen actually lit up with Launch control graphics and the other two times it did not but it did go quick off the line but I was not sure if it was really launched. The count showed a total of 3.
Emporia EVSE Users: This EVSE has been working flawlessly since I just use a Timer function set for 8am with 85% target and plug in say 8pm on the night before with no interaction with EVSE. However, today I had to take my wife to the airport and I had to plug in around 9pm and set departure to 4am, and the EVSE and car could not complete Initialization phase. This happened to me before but I was not sure why, now I know, this is because the time between plug in and departure may be too short to reach target. This has to do with some protocol that Taycan and EVSE use that EVSE gets confused stating the car is not accepting charge and goes through a reset cycle that goes nowhere. The solution is to keep the Timer on but before plug in, enable Direct Charge for the first 5 minutes that gets the charging going and then just turn off Direct Charge in the App, then everything proceeded smoothly.
