I am still not sure that I want Innodrive….I didnt check the box for a reason. I very much dislike driving aids. I am not worried though, if the drive gets to be a PIA, I still have several options…..LOL ?
I know to each their own but when going on long trips or early morning work drives or congested driving it’s a really nice add

I was too late selecting 1 option just after my build was locked; Heated steering wheel.
Miss it in winter and hands are cold.

If I was ordering again, I may switch away from the pano roof and select a brighter interior instead.
Back seats seldom used and driver gains little from the pano roof - except weight and potential cracks.
I wouldn’t worry about this one at all I can’t even tell it’s on a lot of the time. I usually go to turn it on and actually turn it off as it was already on.

+1, it is great in rush hour or heavy traffic, makes the drive more relaxing you only have to wiggle the wheel every now and again when it nags you. They should really allow a longer period before the warning kicks in, the system is very good.

It’s really mean of Porsche to not include this option as standard. It’s seamlessly integrated so the only downside to it is a minimal cost.

I am happy with the way I optioned my 2020 4 S. When ordering my car in March 2020 some things were mandatory like the panoramic roof and heated steering wheel. I ordered the 150 KW 400 V DC charger with the expectation the Tesla charging network would open up to us. My Cayenne had ventilated seats so I knew to get them especially in FL. I use Innodrive every day with speed limit detection shut off. I wish I had ordered the sport steering wheel since my other car has it. Not a big deal. At infinite expense earlier this year I had the 22KW charger added so I have Plug and Charge. I am enjoying the restored range of my recently installed HV battery.

I thought about that, but love the look of it.

I check _ALL_ the boxes that I want - it's too expensive to do over and if you're not willing to pay Porsche their option tax they may not be the brand for you - no one buys a Porsche to save money - I'm always confused by people that save $327 on a $180k vehicle, but then again they won't be bankrupt and I will…so I guess in the end they are right.

check _ALL_ the boxes, it's cheaper than doing it over.
For me, it's been more about incremental weight & complexity than money. Now admittedly, that line of reasoning makes a lot more sense on a Cayman or 911 than a Taycan.

Regrets for me are two options I didn’t choose myself.

1. Noise/heat treated glass. Sucks. Blocks toll tags and radar detectors. Does not make an appreciable difference.

2. The Porsche charger connect. Do not over invest in this. It’s shitty.
Didn't know about the Toll Tags, thanks.

Wish I had Air Suspension on my RWD. Roads around here in Central Florida are terriable. Have a few problems with my car, tires will not stay balanced and have had a thumping sound @70MPH several times. Dealer can not fix my problems. Depreciation is outrageous. Never getting another Porsche!

I have the massage seats and I would say that they are decent but not as good as most ICE car massage seats so you may not be missing a ton with this one.
I disagree with this. My X5 massage seats are so weak compared to the Taycan. I love love love the massage seats. Best option I added.

Perhaps you should sample some more automotive massage seats ? The Taycan’s are ok but they are nowhere near best in class for this function. Glad you love yours though….I can only say that I find this feature be “fine” after nearly 2 years of use.

I’ve had my 23 GTS for 20 months now and i absolutely love it BUT I never in a million years thought I’d miss ventilated cooled seats, I regret not checking that box. Anyone have any option regrets? Something they wish they didn’t spend $ on or vice versa ?
Just got a message from our dealer, they organise a "seat ventilation upgrade group offering". No need for me, since I have it.

No regrets. Electric sports sound is useless, maybe new version is better?

Tick what you like, life's too short...

Which ones that you have experienced, are better, in your opinion? Would love to check them out.

Spent about 20k more than my original budget, got everything I wanted and do NOT regret anything. Can’t wipe the smile off my face every time I drive it!
