No one has called, written or texted me about any recalls… I guess I’m forgotten… will let you all know how these original brake lines hold up (if I’m that lucky to walk away) ?
Likewise for me. I have tried to call and email the service centre to get any information, but…… radio silence! No information at all.

Another data point fwiw: I called Hoffman Porsche in Hartford CT just now and they scheduled me for October 23 on the idea that they could obtain the parts by then.
The dealership has only one Taycan tech and he is always busy!
The service rep cautioned me against my hope of having this done in a day and promised me a loaner.
But instead of driving down the after before to pick up the loaner, I’ll probably show up at 7:30 in the morning on the appointment day in the hope that the work can be done while I wait. I have an hour drive in each direction, so I’d rather settle in with laptop and do work at the dealership than spend another two hours roundtrip driving.
(Although the chance to drive another Porsche is tempting!)

They've prioritizes inventory cars that were sold to new customers before existing customer cars.

I reached out to my SA today (she’s great, Anastasia at Porsche Bellevue), because the car issued a “change brake fluid now” notification. I also inquired about the open recalls (2 for me, brake lines and charger cable). She replied promptly to say parts have to be special-ordered. After another 15 min or so I had a confirmed appointment for all repairs, with a loaner, 2 weeks out. This was the first contact I made on this topic. Works for me. ??‍♂

I should drive to Washington and visit your dealer.

I asked rennline if they could make some for us. I’d go with their aftermarket ones instead if they had them.

I am saying that access to parts seems to mostly be a US issue.
Unfortunately not true. My appointment in germany also got canceled the day before it should take place approx 3 weeks ago (side Message: don’t call us, we will call you). Comparable messages can be found at the Taycan Forum @PFF. Seems a supply isses compared with a mind bogling part order System for the Porsche dealers.

Got a call from our service advisor at Porsche McKinney who has the parts and have scheduled the brake service for Wednesday. They also replace the charger with a PMCC under the earlier recall and it’s been working very well. We are very happy

re 'glimpse into how Porsche operates'.
Do you view the problem, the recall, and Porsche's response to be a good thing/positive view of Porsche?
I wasn't going as much for the good/bad qualifier (that's relative), but more of an insight (really) into their mindset: "we're going to take our time, keep quiet and engineer the fuck out of the solution, irrespective of cost". As it happens, I adhere to the same mantra (and so I'd deem it "good" since you asked), though I readily recognize the same approach won't apply to all situations or fields of activity.

I dropped mine off today for 5 open campaigns + the leather dash is lifting in 3 places. (which in almost 3 years is the only issue I've had, other than recalls)

APB6, ARA4, ARB0, WPK0, WRJ5

I use a dealer that is 35 miles away, refuse to support the 2 close to me.

Anyway, told him "look, you can just keep the car until these are done. I'm tired of going back and forth" (I have a loaner now)

service writer said they have the parts for the brake + charger now.

But the battery... said they have to have the car in-hand to get the crate and it can take 30 days, if they don't have one in stock.

He'll know more mid week.

We'll see.

I fulliy plan on letting them keep the car until it's fixed. I'm tired of this crap.
