ARBZ6? I assume the Z is a typo or you have a different recall?

Anyway, I’ve been given the car back a couple of times, but think last one predates the triangle.

Interesting it refers to the defects as ‘production topics’. Tossers.

My triangle message below. Interesting it doesn’t say anything about 80% limit and certainly only says it needs to be checked and a replacement of modules if an issue crops up. So that bit isn’t new I think?

Porsche GB have confirmed that this specific recall can't be resolved by 60 day module checks. It needs the software update (which doesn't have an ETA!), else cars won't be released by dealers on safety grounds.

If anyone had the amber warning for ARB6 in the app yet was allowed to drive off after a module check, I'd love to know!
That’s slightly concerning. Do you know when Porsche GB changed their stance on this and if they are going to actually communicate this to us at all?

My Porsche service centre said there was no need for me to come in as I had had the checks done in April, even though I had the orange warning triangle appear in the app.

They seem to be pretty clueless. If it’s ARB6 then you’re supposed to be doing the 60 day thing. If it’s ARB7 (not sure if you get a triangle for that), then it’s remote monitoring and no need to go in.

Maybe you should ask customer services. Email seem to get answered about 50% of the time, so best to call them I guess. Be nice to have something in writing though in case of an issue.

Something in writing would be good. However, each time I have emailed them they have called back, which to be fair, has been great and the service I have been given has also been very good. My guess is that the service centres aren’t 100% sure what they are supposed to be doing at the moment.

Seems like since the app alerts kicked off on 24 May. I literally bought mine the day prior from my OPC with no recall concerns mentioned or listed at the time.

@BigBob yes sorry typo, corrected it immediately after but you were too quick!

Porsche GB seem to avoid or be super slow responding to emails. This was all discussed over the phone with them this morning +44 3457 911 911

At least they’ve got a good phone number.

Here's an interesting one, I have the Orange Warning ⚠ which came up a while after I booked into a service centre to get recall work done. I recently needed to be somewhere different on the booked day so decided to book into a different Porsche Service centre following the Link in the App attached to the recall warning. The second service centre rang me and said there is no need to bring your vehicle in as we have access to it and can see that everything is fine ? Attached is the booking details from the first service centre which I will now still go to out of interest. I haven't mentioned the conflicting messages to either Porsche Centre - Yet - I'm intrigued as to what will get done when I take it in in a few weeks time

I wonder if they're taking a different stance between those already in ownership for a while, versus those recently sold

Yes, both are UK Porsche Service Centres - Reading and Swindon.
