Very simple for me:
A center console that I can access without tying myself in a knot. It is actually dangerous to try and access the charge ports while driving. Is that too much to ask...?
Yes! Nothing about the space behind the screen or the center console makes sense for daily usage, I have determined who ever designed or tested it has Gumby arms and hands.

Vehicle to Grid would be the major thing I’d wish for, otherwise there’s nothing. Maybe make it slightly smaller and keep the Panamera as the huge saloon.
Funny, another commenter wants slightly bigger.

Apparently Taycan/Panamera are sharing the same platform going forward, so the latter will likely be true.

And/or tiny ones. Everything in Porsches is petite

Panamera offers a “no compromise” interior space…the same can’t be said for Taycan….even though the exterior of the Taycan is very large.

Personally, I like that the Taycan sits between the 911/Panamera interior wise. Panamera just always feels like a whale of a car.

Capacitive sensing in the steering wheel. Not a day goes by when it doesn't ask me to take control, even when I'm not using lane keep.

The things I don't like about mine is that it is pointlessly big, particularly too wide. Inevitably heavy until (if) a different battery technology makes more than a marginal difference. Stupid interior storage layout - styling over ergonomics always irritates the hell out of me.

Is there any word on the next gen Taycan? Is it happening? If so when?

Having had a rental A6 e-tron Avant in Spain I found myself very envious of the efficiency, it looked like it would do well over 300 miles/500kms at 130kmh, nearly double what I get currently. It had all the extra storage space and better tech you could ask for, Waze nav in the central screen being a big one but I wouldn't swap. Lovely car but just a reminder for me of how good the Taycan is to drive.

Assuming there is a next gen Taycan it will have even better battery tech and efficiency than the A6 e-tron/Macan which is all I would really want. I recently configured a J1.2 and ended up with the exact same car that I have, even down to the colour.

Lucky, that. I have tried configuring a j1.2 but have failed to get a spec I like anywhere near as much as the one I already have, so it is a no for me so far.
