Simplemente maravilloso. Me encanta, y soy objetivo.

Simply wonderful. I love it, and I'm objective. In my case, it is totally reliable... unlike my 991 Targa 4s, which already goes for the second engine.

In summary... elegant and sporty aesthetics, performance, handling, very high autonomy (450 km) for my use, 300 km of charge, about 60 kW in 15 minutes, precise and fast steering, excellent comfort, very low noise, maintenance of the low-end Seat, and finally I don't get tired... an incredible experience.
Good points all!

For me -
  • Handling - Feels like I'm entering a pleasure zone each time I start the car. The handling is the best of any car I've owned, and the responsiveness when I accelerate gives me a kick even when I'm not going all out. When I first got the car I thought - "So THIS is what driving a Porsche feels like ?"
  • Appearance/ Styling - People stop me to ask about my Taycan every week, or yell "Nice car!" as I drive by. If I'm talking with them they can't believe it is 4 years old with 30k miles on it - it still has that "radical new" look. While not all of us feel the same, I'm in love with the Mission-E wheels.
  • Charging - God! I am so glad I don't have to fill gas in the tank for this car. I love charging at home, and my experience with DC fast charging has been very good. Not to say I've not had a problem now and then with Plug & Charge, but generally it's been great.
Almost in my Top Three - Reliability. I've had only the heater replacement and few minor recall visits to-date.

1. Neck snapping acceleration at any speed. Not just for fun, but useful for repositioning in traffic. It’s much like riding a powerful motorcycle but with creature comforts and safety.

2. ‘Filling the tank’ at C$.08/kwh (US$.06). That’s our overnight rate. From 20% to 80% is 50 kWh × $0.08 = $4.02 CAD (US$2.90). It’s not that someone who can afford a Porsche can’t afford $100 fill-ups, but man it feels good. ?

3. It’s unique blend of practicality and wow. Yes Porsche and other luxury manufacturers make high-performance SUVs. But they are relatively top heavy and cumbersome. Yes other manufacturers make high-performance sedans, but they look like old man cars with big wheels. The Taycan will spirit four people and a surprising amount of cargo about when you need it to. And when it’s just you and your machine, the driving experience comes very close to the thrill and dynamics of a true sports car. And do it all in a provocative, sexy package.

❤❤❤

1) Looks - I play 20 questions every time I go out
2) The drive - acceleration, handling and ride are first class
3) Charging - At home or on trips is quick and easy

I have a 2023 GTS ST.

The top three things with this car:
1) Ride quality (high comfort even during very sporty driving)
2) Performance (quick response and acceleration, especially from a standstill)
3) Design (a feast for the eyes on a daily basis)

Desired improvements:
1) Lower weight (requires new battery technology; solid state?)
2) Even better performance (partly addressed with J1.2 -- and more so with MapEV :–)
3) Better range (already addressed with J1.2)

Minor issues:
1) No mechanical opening of the frunk (an issue when you have a dead 12V battery :–(
2) No automatic raise of the chassis for speed bumps or similar hindrances (should be a built-in front sensor for this)
3) Better swipe sensors front and rear (I often have to swipe my hand over the front hood and the foot under the rear bumper several times before it "catches" and the lid opens)

Cheap power from 7pm to 7am. About 85% of Ontario electricity comes from hydro and nuclear.
