Has any of your customers had a tune with level 1 regen increased by 20 or 30 or 40 % yet, and if so what feedback have you received from them? (I'm still on the fence about doing this myself :–).
Yes, dozens of them. There are some of them who posted here.
I developed and tested this myself though, not sure what you want to hear.

The cars are remotely flashable with our tune, so we can add or remove the option after the purchase as well.

Thanks prj for always responding so fast and knowledgeable!

Ok, so an open question then to all others here who also has the tune and decided to modify the level 1 regen value: What value did you go with, and how do you feel this has improved the driving experience in your case?

Nobody except me knows exactly how much regen they have. I give you a rough figure, it's more complex than that.
You can ask for increased regen, you can ask for power to be stock in a mode, that's it.

You don't get to request 20 files with different regen settings and test each one of them. I already did that, and I do what is optimal.
I can make the ASG control a coffee machine, it doesn't mean it's a commercially viable path to follow, or one that you should be able to request when getting your car tuned.

In a Taycan, more regen (to get it like OPD) is pointless, especially in stop and go traffic because the Taycan cannot apply the brakes automatically. So, you'll have to use the brake pedal anyway. Also, the Taycan's throttle pedal is a bit softer than other OPD cars (e.g Tesla) which makes for a finicky car 🤢. But hey, if an unbalanced car is what you like, then that's what you like.

You probably meant this anyway, but it has in fact much more resistance than a Tesla, which is why my OPD software while calibrated well caused too much fatigue in the leg.

I think if someone were to modify the pedal and put softer springs in there, it could probably work quite well, but there is no need for it. OPD was a hack around not having blended brakes.

I disagree with this. I love the MapEV heavy regen in heavy LA traffic and like it much better than the auto mode which plows into much slower traffic much faster than I am comfortable with. (Like when the lane over is barely moving, I don't want to come in at 70mph, even if the car will do a panic stop a few seconds later into also stopped traffic) The fatigue of having to use the brake when it is stop and go isn't there as I just activate auto when it gets to that point, which still works, and does apply the brakes. But auto works poorly for me when traffic is going between 85mph and 15mph, it frankly scares me by waiting way too late to brake, or willingness to be 60 MPH faster than the next lane over.

When you say "stop and go traffic", are you talking about coming to a complete stop multiple times on the freeway throughout your trip? You still have to step on the brake to come to a complete stop. It's more fatiguing having to modulate the gas pedal for braking to slow the car down to a crawl, then also having to step on the brakes to stop. When I had the heavy regen tune, yes, I agree, that it's less fatiguing only if you don't have to come to a complete stop, but rather just slow downs along your trip.

I feel like I was fairly clear about what I meant and you didn't read it clearly.

" The fatigue of having to use the brake when it is stop and go isn't there as I just activate auto when it gets to that point, which still works, and does apply the brakes. "

Oh wow. Your Taycan in auto (overrun recuperation), not only slows down the car, but also applies the brakes to come a complete stop? Clearly, your Taycan is the only one in the world that can do such a thing.

My car comes to a complete stop and will hold the brakes without me touching them. I don't know what to tell you other than you are acting like a child.

This child would love to know how you pull this off, as applying the brakes to come to a complete stop in auto overrun recuperation is beyond the mechanical limits of the car. Unless, you’re mistaken for ACC. If not, then you, sir, clearly…have no clue.

I have ACC as well. I have lots of cars, forgive me if I don't understand which option makes this car come to a stop, all I can say is it does. Why are you such a dick?

Looking at getting this tune for my newly delivered ‘25 GTS. It's a lease, so after(if) I return it, can the ASG be repurposed to another VIN?

I can setup normal mode to be completely stock, and sport / sport+ to have full power, increased regen, and sharper acceleration pedal right?

My last car was a Mach-E GT, and the accelerator was noticeably sharper and I miss that.

ASG can be reused (needs to be reprogrammed and re-coded, but can be done remote on the new car), which saves the cost of the ASG and shipping, but that's around 500$ of the fee. The software fee is paid per car.

The ASG is arriving at the end of this week. Just to be clear, I only need to clear the faults with the MAPEV Diag if I am swapping the ASG back to take it into the dealership, correct?
