Looking back on my Taycan as I started skinning up NH’s Mt Washington this afternoon:

Is it an early start of the skiing season this year? A bit jealous that you already have proper winter conditions :)

I recon you have put quite som km's/miles on the CC2 tyres by now. How are they holding up in ice and snow?

How'd your car do travelling that distance? How much range did you use / have at the end?

3 passengers in car with temps ranging between 50 - 65 deg. F:

Started the day at 100% charge, and drove to the meeting point parking lot using Range mode with 85% charge remaining for the event.

By the end of the tour which included plenty of spirited driving in my group of 11 Porsches (Cayman, Boxter, 911, Panamera), I had 60 miles of indicated range remaining. There was a highway closure on the way home so I went to a EA charger 10 miles away for safety. These are the numbers from the morning until that EA charger:

Everything considered, happy with the car’s range and suitability for the event.

Yes, definitely an early start to the backcountry skiing season on Mt Washington: on Friday I was able to keep my skis on all the way from car to summit to car, and the prior day a skier was carried by an avalanche in Tuckerman Ravine, so good signs for a snowpack that is rapidly development (even if not all that safe on steeper terrain).
Backcountry skiing is also in good shape at not-yet-open ski resorts in northern Vermont.

I have the CC2 on both my Taycan 4CT and Audi A6 Allroad.
Here's my stock answer in praise of the CC2:

Only regret is that the CC2 is not available in the i4 M50 19” staggered setup for my wife’s car (for which I mounted the Vredestein Quatrac Pro Plus).
Performance sure feels like a Central European / “Performance” winter tire. This included a memorable morning when I was driving out early to direct a ski mountaineering race on an epic powder day. Only other vehicles on the roads were the four P: participants in the race, patrollers for the race, plow trucks, and police cruisers.
On the dry, perhaps at the limits it underperforms compared to the very best performance-oriented all-season tires. But I’m definitely not testing those limits!
Rolling resistance, on the A6, at first my records indicated a noticeable mpg hit compared to the OEM Continental ProContact TX. But I switched over at about the same time as the switch to winter gas. Plus my driving habits changed a bit last fall. Looking at a more comparable period for this year, my records indicate a hit of less than 1% (specifically, 0.6%). Even if it’s more than that, it’s still … small. Noise and comfort, definitely not quite as good as the TX, but that TX also had lots of squishy foam on the inside. (I was pretty surprised to see what it’s like when I took them off and saved them for resale.)
On the Taycan 4CT, I’ve been trying to tease out the data so far to detect any range hit compared to the OEM Michelin summer tires. The problem is that I switched over at the same time as temperatures dropped, which has a huge hit on EV range.
Comfort compared to OEM, I don’t detect any difference. Noise, might be noticing a bit more in the rear, although if so, then it’s a subtle difference, and more like because I’m trying to hard to notice a difference!
Oh, looks, yeah, that tread sure is funny! But I think it fits in well with the image of any vehicle called something like ALLROAD or CROSS Turismo, heh.
Overall, the only significant drawback is that Michelin realizes it doesn’t have any significant drawbacks and hence charges accordingly! For anyone who needs more winter performance than an all-season tire and doesn’t want a Nordic / Studless tire (and anyone who lives in the Northeast with all our winter wet roads, and who lives on a paved plowed road), it’s the perfect year-round solution.

Great feedback, @Jonathan S. I see that the CC2 is now also available in the Nordics, for the Taycan.
Enyoy your back-country skiing.

Terrific pictures! But they beg the question - "How did you keep the car so clean getting it up into the snow!!"
Thanks!
Simple : use the weather and its freezing temperature. < -2° = everything stick to the road. But also : -2° = damn I should already have swapped those tires to winter wheels!
(also: the car is not that clean actually; I took the photo from further away and with 5x zoom, to get a better perspective).

EDIT - missed opportunity: I should have turned the car around for the second shot...

EDIT2 - another montage, this time the steering is where it should be:
