I have scanned posts but being direction driven, how to charge at Tesla SC. I have both apps as I have Tesla MS in addition
to Taycan. First thing is adapter to Tesla cord before plugging in. Once plugged in which app should I use? After charge release Tesla cord with adapter and the remove adapter.
Thanks so much for help. A url will be great.

- Install the Tesla app (you already have it)
- Drive and park at a Tesla SC - if not in Europe, check that it shows up in the app when clicking "Charge Your (Other) EV".
- In the Tesla app, click on "Charge Your EV" - or burger menu/"Charge Your Other EV"
- Select the SC you're at; Click "Charge Here"
- Below, select the charger you're at (1A/1B/.../4A/4B/...)
- Plug the charger to the car. If in the USA, you'll need an adapter for this.

Supposedly, the Porsche app supports/is going to support the Tesla chargers in the USA. I'd rather use the Tesla app, as I doubt Porsche will match their prices; and the in-app updates on the charge level are more up-to-date than in the Porsche app.

Its actually “Charge your other EV”, and it’s accessed by hitting the “hamburger” at the upper right of the Tesla App Home Screen and then scrolling all the way down…

Thanks for the precision - I don't own a T. car, not willing to give that much money to Musk ;)
Thus for me, it's a huge button ot the top of the main screen - I've never experienced having to use this "other EV"

Don’t just drive to any SC, some will not take non-Tesla vehicles. Filter in the Tesla app.
Correct, and if you use the Tesla app in the way described, ONLY compatible chargers will be displayed.

I've been charging at my local Tesla supercharger recently, as I have construction at my house and my garage charger is not available.

It's simple:
1. Definitely need the Tesla app and make sure the station allows charging non-Tesla
2. Take the Tesla cable and plug it into your adapter
3. Plug the adapter into your car
4. Using the Tesla app, initiate the charge for your particular station.
5. When done, stop the charging using the app
6. Press the button on your Taycan to stop the charge and release the adapter
7. Remove the adapter
8. Remove the Tesla cable from your adapter and return it.

It's really simple!

If the 2027 Taycan comes standard with only a NACS receptacle, then a different (reverse) adapter would be needed for charging 2027’s at EA and other non Tesla sites.

Nope at least not yet, only 2026.

OP, you can initiate the charge using the My Porsche app now, you don't have to use the Tesla app.

No clue why but only 2026 Taycans get P&C right now.

how do you check if accepts non Tesla? On the Tesla app?

I am sorry but I am confused by hamburger. I can’t see it. Can you send picture.
