Best home charger?

Hi all, my Andersen A2 has recently packed in - just out of warranty, annoyingly.

I’m wondering whether I should go for another Andersen (now with a 7 year warranty instead of 3), or go for something else that’s ideally a little bit cheaper?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I’d preferably like a tethered unit with a way to hide the cable, and I don’t need anything more than 7kW.

I've been using the Porsche one that came with the car for 2.5yrs. Works great and doesn't get cheaper than that.

As we started with Teslas, I have 3-phase 32A Tesla Gen 3 Wall Chargers (x2) at home, and they work fine with my Taycan and my wife's Mercedes EQB.

same here, going on 6 months and mounted to the wall so nice and clean without taking up too much space.

I got mine free with the car 5 years ago and has been flawless.

Checkout eBay as they aren't made any more and you might get lucky for little money.

Based upon recommendations from Tom M. (one of the former guests on the InsideEVs podcast who spent way too much time reviewing chargers), I bought a Grizzl-e charger. I've had it 4+ years, no issues. Best part is that it came with a 25 foot cable so I can charge all three EVs in the garage. Downside is that it did not come with any hooks for cable storage so I coil it like a snake on the floor when not in use.

I just told my wife that some rich guy posted an image of a hook for a charging cable, but that it was far too expensive.

(And most importantly would involve far to much effort on my part to install.)
