My 22KW on board charger promptly died one month after I bought the car - a new to me / lovely 3y old 4S CT.

It happened just before I was able to get the Approved warranty extension - luckily Porsche extended the factory warranty on these, acknowledging the part is crap.

I had to specifically ask if they offer some compensation - while showing evidence from this forum  that this is the practice in various countries.
A month later and after an email to porsche.de I got a call stating that something will be arranged and I should sit tight.

Still sitting tight 4 months later 🙂, so I was wondering how others have fared on this?

PS: LOVE the car!
+ OBC dead and replaced - took them a month!
+ LTE gone and came back 3 weeks later, phew..
+ jerky acceleration / lost power twice - self resolved on restarting the car.. wtf Porsche!
+ nav keeps restarting for a while now - as for many out there - there are worse problems to have, I guess 🙃

Still love the car!

Mine died a week ago and got the car back 1 hour ago.

My PZ offered to temporarily fit a 11kw OBC, as their understanding was that a new 22kw OBC is planned to be offered by Porsche eventually.

If this is finally announced, they committed to replacing the 11kw OBC with the new 22kw OBC. Otherwise, they committed to request and process the refund & compensation.

So my case would be a 7th case in that list.

The Nav rebooting is a post an over the air update. Provided you don’t do charge planning it shouldn’t crash. But would recommend Google Maps or Waze then as the Porsche nav app is pretty poor IME>

Voila, added your 7th option.

They aren't too sure of how this will play out, by the sound of it - and play for time.

Just about to pick this up with Porsche again as it's been 4 months and no resolution so far.

Any new votes / vote changes would be appreciated - if you've got sorted in the mean while - thanks!

Per TSB, dealerships are instructed to give compensation. But don’t expect them to reach out to you about it 🤣 they do love money after all. You have to pester them

@daveo4EV - sorry, just realised one can't see the results without voting and changed that - you should be able to view them now.

I also just changed my vote and added a new option - just got confirmation I will be getting the price of the option returned.

It's not 2x the option cost like other people got, but I won't be making a fuss, as I didn't use it, TBH. Hopefully more cash gets left in the CARIAD coffers, to fix those software niggles ;)

How about they process the refund and compensation and then if they ever have a 22kW to replace it with, you pay the refund back at your option?

Any news on the refund? Just curious since mine died and was replaced with 11kw last week… dealer said Porsche will refund £1500 but not mention when and how :headbang::headbang:

Also looking for compensation for the nerfed 9.2 kw OBC since I'm charging slower than a Bolt on a L2.

When I got my car back, there was a letter attached from Porsche NA telling me to contact them (via the posted phone number) about the compensation. I would assume you can do the same and contact Porsche UK.
