Just heard from dealership. Car is done. So it took a day and a half, including at least one false start. Looking forward to getting my baby back and seeing the uPdate, but since @DerekS beat me to it, I'll just assume I am as happy as he appears to be with the result.

why do you think this is just a firmware flash?

I dropped off my car to have a chip in the windshield repaired and it wasn't available for pickup until late in the day, so I am not surprised that updating system software, perhaps some firmware, testing it, would not be done until the next day.

what sarcasm? i get that this is such a trauma for some people - it is good that we have a support forum for all the emotional distress and drama these horrible event of needing to wait has caused some people.

Does anyone know where we can find a list of voice commands? In particular I make extensive use of voice to text when driving and I'd like to understand what commands are available.

Remember how I said dealership called and car is ready? Well they just called again and "SOS codes are not clearing, we want to keep the car another night, see if they clear overnight." So it seems there is a pattern these installs are following. Those of you that are waiting may benefit from our pain. If I wasn't planning a trip from San Diego to Monterey in August (which I posted about in Trips), I'd probably wait too. More updates on the update coming!

I think the technicians have to enter it by hand from printed git diffs.

indeed.. as a Tesla owner that gets every 2/3 weeks a update with big changes or new functions that takes 20 min's overnight reading this topic is just painful.
