Great, thanks for the explanation! I’ve actually been looking for a way to adjust how far the seat moves back when getting out of the car. Just a little bit more would be perfect. I’m not asking for much, haha.
Fully agree.

On my car (until the recent software update), the Comfort Entry/Exit option was displayed. Something like the attached (although that is not my car, just a picture from the internet).

After the update, the comfort entry/exit PCM menu item is missing and the functionality no longer works.

I have checked the entry using PIWIS, and it states that the particular entry is already active.
Easy Entry.webp

---------------------------------------
Easy Entry/Exit not working until this point.

I then found another entry in BCM called 'easy_entry_steering_column_via_mmi_configurable'

BCM-Easy Entry.webp

This was set to inactive. I changed this to active; and voila.... Easy Entrty/Exit is now working...

I have no idea if it wa this change or something else that triggered the Comfort Entry.Exit to start working; but it has started to function. 👍

@Chiu

Do you know of the code to make the seat go a bit more backwards? I understand the risk that there may be a person sitting behind, etc... but do you know the parameter to change to make the seat go further back?

Any ides ?

I think if you do not have the LEDs in the doors, but do have the LEDs in the side mirrors, the Exit warning it is still a useful function.
Has anyone tried whether the LEDs of the blind-spot monitoring system (LCA) in the side mirrors can actually be used to get an exit warning? If so, what was coded?

Best,
Stefan

Hello,
I’m currently trying to adapt my Taycan Turbo S (J1.1, MY24) a bit to my needs.
Does anyone have any hints on how exactly the intersection assist and the maneuver assist can be coded retroactively? The sensors are present…

These are from my notes... The green values are the default values, the next column shows what the values need to be.

@Porsche-Guru : This (RCTA & exit warning / egress warner) worked for me as well. Thanks for that...! But in this case it is not what I am looking for.

I am looking for other assistants / functions:
a) Intersection Assist (front!)
b) Maneuvering Assist (which is the automatic breaking system when you are driving backwards)

For clarity (I've seen a bit of back and forth on this) I DON'T have the LEDs in the door/seat control piece, but I DO have the mirror warning lights.

Q: If I code "on" the exit warning, will it light up the mirror lights and just "skip over" the missing LEDs on the inside of the door?

No idea, that wouldbe nice to code if it works. Let’s keep finding.

Also, does anyone know how to enable Auto parking, I.e. where once a space is found, the car parks itself.

I don’t think you can code this if you don’t have the sensors for it. I was looking into this until someone told me it might not be possible. My PIWIS is virtual and times out sometimes so I didn’t want to risk it. I hope someone on here tries and give us their results.

Do you know the coding parameters for this? I can have a look sometime and try and code it… Thanks.

To be honest, I had to use my phone to translate from German to English because I couldn't find that information fully. I'll try to help you when I get my car back from the dealership.

Has anyone managed to code Active Lane Keeping (ALK) to the J1? I’ve got LKA and ACC

I ended up just paying for the activation through FoD and yes, it was prob more expensive than going through PIWIS but didn’t want to wait as I had a trip coming up.

We would have to see what the settings are from someone with ALK and compare it to a car without it to see what needs to change. I’ve tried and I can’t figure it out
