Is your ordered vehicle a MY23 or MY24? If MY23 then you should be getting a MY24 at no extra cost If you’re looking at Oct delivery.

Didn’t think about it like that. Seems like if delivery is pushed out to Oct then there is enough time to make a MY24 and deliver by Oct. One member of the forum has stated already received delivery of a MY24. I too am waiting but my delivery dates isn’t as far out “YET”.

Mine was due to arrive aug 1 and is now aug 18. Not much of a slip but it has def begun sliding.

Sadly I slipped from July to August. Waiting in Emden for a ride to Houston, and hope I make it on the Sunshine Ace, due to arrive Emden July 16.

Hi Trogger , did you get an update yet ? I am waiting as well for any update for the ride to Houston

I made it onto Lake Wanaka, which left Emden July 6, and is estimated to arrive in Houston July 28. The Emden system does not seem fair... hope you make it soon!

Woke up this morning to check TYD and "You've got to be effing kidding me!"*

Production complete moved another five weeks from July 24 to the very end of August and delivery is now firmly into October.

According to my new SA's information from Porsche (yes, this purchase has outlasted an SA at the dealership) the delay is due to WNT8. You know, the three day to one week hold sending vehicle log data to Porsche.

We're not event into shipping delays or random quality holds after it reaches the dealer. I doubt we'll get the car before 2024.

My wife is ready to give up and go elsewhere.

*Except he didn't say effing.

That's interesting. Mine actually was built without issues. Hoping shipping normal too. Maybe they are prioritizing the MY 2024 ones given that we have to pay more.

i suspect that they probably ran out of 2023 parts. so you might have to pony up more.

@TLC FYI - I received an email update from Porsche at 7.15pm tonight but it took about an hour for the website and app to catch up. Good luck .

@IonFlow Unfortunately I’ve only received 2 emails total during the process and the last one was 2 months after TYD updated that the car was in Emden back in May. Still no change in TYD to date and nothing from my SA so I’m still holding hope that it is on the same vessel as yours.

@TLC My SA confirmed my status this morning. With arrival in Baltimore on 7/29, he expects see my CT at the dealership (Columbus OH) on 8/11. Your SA should be able to tell you one way or the other by now.

@IonFlow Just received an email from my SA… he stated on his side the vehicle is still awaiting a vessel. If I’m pushed back again I will put some serious thought in trying to get my deposit back and possibly waiting for the MY25 refresh.

Finally got some good news from TYD. As I was doing FIRST FRC robot stuff today I got an alert that the car which was supposed to be finished in May, then June, then the end of July, then the end of August was actually done. Today. After a full twelve weeks it was very strange to see it not showing "in production" but rather production complete.

An (end of) August delivery may be back on the table, if nothing else slips.

Almost as exciting, I finally got to test the EVSE I installed last April in expectation of a May delivery. A friend charged his Tesla at 10.8 KW for a 2 full hours and nothing in the system got warmer than about 20 degrees Fahrenheit above ambient.
