CT alarm issue, how common is it?

Safe to assume any new Taycan that will roll off the assembly line once factory operations resume will have the new part and not have this issue?

Had my alarm service carried out today, can confirm the problem is fixed. I tried both ways of replicating the false alarm and both failed to trigger it.

New part number is PAB951172 as already confirmed by others.

I also noticed that the Alarm service has disappeared from the Porsche Connect / My Porsche functions list (visible when you log in on a web browser.)

I would say that it’s pretty safe to assume so, yes. My MY22 CT built late January doesn’t seem to have this problem, at least.

Mine was built in February, and it has the issue. A slow double-lock seems to solve it, though. (Knocking on wood here, because it’s parked in long term parking at an airport while I travel)

IMO, there’s no rule.
sometimes after 5 minutes (forgot to disable interior sensor and double-lock), sometimes after few hours. Last time, more than three.

I've had my 4SCT since 25th February and haven't had any issues, presumably due to studiously unticking the box before leaving the car. When I had my 'Masterclass' last week the sales rep checked and a flag has been raised for a campaign to fix the issue on my car 'when it next comes in' which in theory could be two years! Fortunately (?!) there's a knocking somewhere in the cabin which isn't explained by seat belts or anything visible so I'll get it in for analysis!!

My dealer called me and scheduled the seensor replacement at the beginning of May.
I just noticed a problem when I picked up the car and they reached me without additional notice.

Car was built the 14th of february 2022 ... never had the alarm issue

What does the alarm sound like i.e. a fire engine or car horn? I left my dog in the car earlier and glanced out and saw the indictor lights flashing away, but not sure i heard anything!

like those alarms on all the cars in the 80s. high pitch 'wewewewewewewe'. Not too loud, but annoying.

Just got notice of recall from Porsche...so that should explain it...appt next week to have it repaired/fixed with dealership made!

Mine was finally fixed today.. Took a bit longer since some updates had to be done at the same time to the PCM.

If it feels like a long time waiting for a part it's because it was: it was.. more than 7months here to get it. It's going to take us a while to get used to single tap locking now. But overall glad this is over.

Just had this happen yesterday in my 2023 4S CT. 6.5k miles on it of which I've driven 2.5k. It seems to have just randomly gone away. Anyone have that happen and then have it come back?

The double tapping of the lock button and unchecking the interior monitoring did not work btw...

Way back when I took delivery in 21 it would happen and go away, but kept coming back more frequently. There was a Porsche bulletin and it was fixed under that bulletin at no cost.
