December 2022 Deliveries

My TYD has been updated as well… everything slipped further for another week. At this point I think I will be taking a delivery of MY22 in 2023 for sure as I will be spending Xmas out of the country and will be back early Jan 2023.

• On vessel - 11/04 -> 11/11
• Entry Port Benicia - 12/09 -> 12/16
• Arrival Porsche Dealer - 12/16 -> 12/23

reporting the same. TYD is now reporting 12/9/22. So I went from 11/25 to 12/2 and now at 12/9.

Did you guys all just recently get your delivery date changed from TYD today? And are your cars waiting at Emden? Mine moved up from 12/2 to 11/25 a few weeks ago. It arrived at Emden on 10/4 but not sure what boat it’s leaving on. Didn’t seem like there’s a west coast boat in October so maybe they just haven’t updated my delivery date to a later point yet

mine is still up. Just checked again now. More bad news for me. Everything got pushed back another week. Delivery went from 12/2 to 12/9. I think these are all just made up dates at this point. Not confident at all in any of these dates holding up.

What I don’t get is that Porsche sold over 1000 Taycans last quarter in North America. Presumably they will also sell another at least 1000 cars this quarter yet no one on this forum is getting their cars on time. Even those with production completion dates going back to July this year. Where are all the cars they are going to sell between now and end of the year coming from?

I spoke with the exec offices of Porsche USA last week and they said the TYD site is just not accurate, and unfortunately the dealers don’t have any different info than that. Although mine showed arriving at Emden Port on 9/23 and my dealer telling me that meant the battery was installed and it’s just awaiting a ship and that he in fact that it would be here before the date showing on TYD of 11/18, the Cust Svc rep told me they researched my VIN and control # and they confirmed it was not at the port and it was still awaiting a battery.

My dates also moved. 11/11 on boat. 12/02 delivery. And TYD now umbrella man for me…

Week 41 US West coast vessel schedule for Benicia is out - no change to Nov 1 sailing date for Glovis Sigma and no new vessel indicated for December yet.

If it’s any consolation for anyone, as my date recently moved to 12/2 from 11/25 (placeholder) yesterday, I reached out to my SA and he informed me that he is no longer seeing any blockages on my car so it looks like this date might be legitimate. Fingers crossed?

Btw, for those of you with ‘USA’ as a location, pls consider being a bit more precise. If you are not comfortable with sharing your state, even your region will provide a bit more “color” as we work through the decoder ring of how Porsche is managing this. ??

A piece of definite evidence that the car that rolled off the production line in September has a 12V battery fitted and is already in the UK customer's hand.

Mine got pushed again from NOV 25th to DEC 2nd. I'm expecting from port of Baltimore. Dealer in Chicago, IL. Still says ready for transport (07/25/2022)
