I keep asking Porsche Amsterdam but until now still no WTG1 recall for my car so still can't experience 3982.
Weird. I didn’t have a recall but just walked in yesterday at Leusden. I’m booked for next week without any hasitation

Wondering if you ask them about WTG1 recall for your car? or just requested it as regular paid service to update/fix your navigation?

Can it be easier for me because the car is still in Porsche Approved Warranty? Only got her 2 months ago.

I discovered a new feature that appears to be part of the update.

When you set a destination (in my case, my office), the car now calculates whether you can make a round trip. If it determines that you can return home and your estimated State of Charge (SoC) upon arriving back home would be between 0% and 15%, the car explicitly notifies you.

So when departing from home, you can immediately see what the impact of a return trip will be on your estimated SoC upon arriving back home.

Interesting @Jasper4S. Did a 250 mile return trip the other day with destination a waystop and home the final destination and it calculated the 10 min charging stop needed (preferred network) on the home leg.

Doing the same trip tomorrow, wonder what this feature would mean, maybe it will tell me a stop will be needed to return?

No it is the SoC if you can do a round trip without charging. So I left and it said I would arrive at home later that day with 11%. And I was just leaving home for work.

Weird - I had WTG1 applied last Monday at Porsche Amsterdam. Had been there previously though with complaints about the Navi, at which 3885 version was installed. Now have version 3982.

Unfortunately, still not flawless. Today drove to Rotterdam, all went well, parked the car and came back few hours later to drive back to Amsterdam. Upon starting the drive home, navi on instrument cluster didn’t work (just black frame) and had to do two-finger reset on center screen to make it work again (since turning car off/on didn’t fix it)

While my car was being serviced, they gave me a loaner facelift Taycan GTS - with a not-working cabin heater. Surprised these issues extend here too.

So I've just driven 1000km Geneva (CH) to Cambridge (UK) and the navigation and charge planner worked perfectly.
I will also add that the Taycan also performed superbly, the car just ate the miles on the autoroute, with quiet comfort, helped by innodrive.
I charged with Ionity, which also worked great.
It looks like a big Ionity build out in Langres Noidant France, they look to be creating a hub with around 20+ change units and even a pricing sign.
Later on the existing Iarge Ionity site at Champfleury also worked perfectly.

Last thing to note is that the Ionity cables now look to have some sort of alarm system to deter cable theft.

So the nav issue for me looks be fixed.
