Had my '22 Turbo booked for annual service later this week. Porsche West London just called to tell me that they have to reschedule for February.... and that they were postponing all service in the near term. When I asked why they said it was due to so many "recoveries" related to failed heating... Crazy to me that they haven't done a proper recall in the past 2 years on this and prefer to just fix them as they break - which invariably spikes during cold weather spells. Not right.

Waiting for the cold to set in is a god way to get overwhelmed. Maybe they should have preemptively replaced some during summer instead. I am still waiting for a reply from my dealer, but i hope I won’t have to call the towing on this. Mine is parked in an unheated but concrete garage at night which usually avoid any sort of freezing but the ski season just started and I would like to avoid getting stranded.

Picked up my 2022 Taycan, not even one year old, about 2 weeks ago and today out of nothing this heating issue. Very nice with my 6u old boy next to me in his child seat, so without heated seat.

Waiting for a call back from my dealer, hope they can fix it quickly as winter just started here.

Must admit I’m a bit disappointed as this is already 2nd serious issue in just 2 weeks.

Sorry it happened to you but it's a known issue that is lurking out there for nearly the entire fleet.

I know.. Just frustrating it happens 2w after I got it

Till now dealer experience was very good, so let’s see how they deal with this.

My Taycan got picked up today by Porsche Assistance. Will take at least 5 working days, there are 7 other Taycans already waiting for the same issue. Dealer told me that it will be replaced with same part; the improved version will only be available next year and replaced via recall.

They delivered a very very nice Cayenne GTS as loaner, so I’ve no issues to wait a week.

Overall great experience from my dealer. Very good and friendly communications; they took the time to explain the issue, recall, etc., took very quick actions to pick up my car and gave me a very nice loaner. Satisfied customer still.

Think mine has just failed as well - MY2022 produced right before the switch to MY2023 at the factory.

Ours has also just failed (MY23, just over a year old).
Porsche Assistance have been great. The car will be picked up tomorrow and should be back within 5 days. A little annoying, but not the end of the world.
Hopefully we'll get a nice loaner car!

5 days is great if everything is fixed. Much worse experiences reported on the forum.

What was the outside temperature when your heater failed? Out ambient temperatures are rising again but we are going in a ski trip around Christmas. Would rather have it failing here the next days than on our trip. Stupid feeling but I am thinking about taking my wife’s CLA PHEV instead not to be stranded.

I asked for a preventative heater replacement. My dealer could do it but I would have to pay myself. Didn’t ask the price. Maybe I should have.

Fingers crossed! I'll update next week as to if it actually took 5 days or not!

I haven't been using the car too much recently, so the heater hasn't had to work too hard. It was just after the cold snap here in the UK, an almost mild (for the season / area) 5°C outside, when I noticed it had stopped working.
