Apparently using the search field in the main screen can bring up some options that aren’t otherwise available through the settings menus. Wondering what other hidden options this group can find.

Here’s an example @ohniner found to toggle off the ‘automatic on’ when you enter the vehicle.

Bonus points if anyone can figure out how to turn off the entry/exit seat bolster adjustment or figure how to control windows using the key fob, or set a default music source,….

For the life of me I can’t recall what but I too discovered some answers via this route vs online and physical manuals - I’ll dig around to try to rediscover!!

Not on US spec cars at least. I’ve seen the option in the PCM simulator so maybe it’s region specific. Wishful thinking that the option is hidden somewhere?

Windows - press and hold unlock on the key fob to open and opposite to close (same on all Porsche models).

Seats no go.

Nah, your best bet it to set all that stuff in individual mode so you only have to flick one knob instead of multiple buttons (auto or always regen on + ESS + based on sport mode for extra kick when shifting to 2nd gear). Biggest drawback for me is losing auto lowering at higher speeds.

Thanks. I have to pootle through the town when I leave home so an option to have regen on by default and then I manually to sport when I get to the open road would be a nice option, but I get why they don’t do it.

I do not see this option (Turn on when locking or…) in my Taycan 4S When searching for the ‘Lock’ keyword.
Is this option not available in UK cars?

Not checked my GTS which has auto power on (my 4S didn't that I noticed (it would be on by default)).

My theory is that you need Comfort Access and some folk got lucky and had the option by mistake perhaps.

Do you have Comfort Access?

** 100% certain now that my theory is wrong - "Readiness for Operation" is established when you have the key and sit down. This has been a feature since launch and may be disabled in the PCM as indicated ctated earlier in this thread and possibly has been disabled as a default setting ? ***

Yes, I have Comfort Access.... and the car powers ON as soon as I get inside the car.
I would prefer to have an option to turn ON the car, rather than it do this by default or some means of configuring this option.

Mine is a 4S.

I had a look this morning and I can't find it either not does it appear in the search.

Next I'll try disabling Comfort Access to see if that has any impact.
