+1 to this. Mine was sent last Tuesday and I'm still waiting as well.Seriously though how long does it take for Porsche to analyze a VAL. Mine was sent on last Thursday and still haven’t heard anything. It’s whatever but slightly blood pressure inducing that cars ordered and built after mine are getting delivered
OMG Congratulations!!! So happy for you! Woohoo!!I was supposed to be in the March delivery, but finally picked up the car Thursday! It took about a day for Porsche to get back to the dealer after they sent the data, and the car was cleared for sale. Been enjoying it all weekend, now I gotta get more charge!

My SA said one week, but from others on the forum we've seen them get a response in 24 hours or 10 days lol. I guess we're in the final stretch to get our cars and patience is sure being tested.+1 to this. Mine was sent last Tuesday and I'm still waiting as well.
Thank you! Boy it was a long journey! And thanks for all the advice about sticking with it. The car is a blast. Unfortunately I'm traveling overseas and can't drive it. But it was a great time to drop it off at the shop for PPF until I get back next week.OMG Congratulations!!! So happy for you! Woohoo!!
TYD keeps pushing me out, now July 27th, but at least I got an answer as to why: It ends up, it is a "hold sale" condition and it needs a software update before it can be released. I had heard this, but didn't understand why the long delay (from early June). Ends up, they just released the software update a couple of days ago, so that's an "F" on communication skills and were just stringing me along with interim updates to deliver expectation. Good news, is they have the software it needs now, and it's in the queue to be applied, so could really show up any time. Most likely before the end of the month.

I think this is why we're now seeing a flurry. Porsche are now chasing me for when I want to collect, I guess so they don't end up with a big car park full of Taycans,
Are you playing hard-to-get?Porsche are now chasing me for when I want to collect
Thx for posting your timeline! Mines been at the port for 8 weeks and I’m losing hope! Will keep on holding out…![]()

It was finally delivered to me yesterday.
nearly 8 month of wait comes to the end.
Placed order 11/18/2022
Freeze point 1/23/2023
Started manufacturing 2/20/23
Finished manufacturing 2/26/23
Arrived at Emden 3/1/23
everything was promptly and on schedule till this point. the original delivery date was 3/31/2023.
and then...
Left Emden 3/24/23
Arrived US port 4/22/23
from here, every two weeks TYP gave me a new delivery date for two months. And finally...
Headed to and delivered to the dealer 6/30/23
then it was another 10 days hold at the dealer till they brought it to me on 7/12/2023
Now looking back, it doesn't really feel anything. but when I was at it, it felt like a torture.
I believe many of you have the same experience.
nothing to do with the local dealership, but Porsche provide zero communication and support. you don't expect a prestige brand would operate this way.
Anyway, my dealer gave me a $1,500 cash discount and $7500 leasing credit. I can pay it off after three months. so it will still be around $6,500 discount.
enjoy the ride folks.
Hang in there, its definitely worth the wait. I picked up my car on sunday and its just amazing.Thx for posting your timeline! Mines been at the port for 8 weeks and I’m losing hope! Will keep on holding out…
