I'm really having a hard time believing this...
There are different hardware versions of different control modules, some are updated, others are new.
If you say: "directly from Germany and confirmed in the UK" doesn't mean anything with all due respect.
Seeing is believing, dealers say all kinds of crap, sometimes they don't even know there ARE updates coming...
"I suggest you don t worry about this type of thing and just enjoy yourslef " @Dee

I went forward in time to next week to get the info from a secret lab, jumped back to today in a "time travel device" to tell you about the future.

Let’s see what happens this week @Dee.

My post info is a direct cut and paste from Porsche material so if I’m wrong, then they are as well 😉

I was told that this would update would be applicable to my vehicle which is a 4S with a production date of March 2020, so if it includes that far back then it should apply to basically all vehicles that don’t have these capabilities.

This update should include built-in spotify integration too shouldn’t it? I didn’t see that mentioned in this thread but maybe I missed it.

I’ve not Heard anything re Spotify integration @02bluesuperro and I’d expect it to be in the release notes if it was part of the update but you never know.

Wireless CarPlay is terrible in my car. I just connect a wire and I don’t let the phone automatically connect to wifi. It’s much better that way.

I can dream, can’t I ?

I would love to see implementation of Plug and Charge on my 2020. I can’t believe they can’t solve it with just software. But if they can’t, offer an upgrade with a chip so we can enjoy the benefit of this feature.

I'm curious how many of those range/battery improvements might apply to my GTS that was delivered last week, or if I already have them

Better Porsche connect app functionality would be great. I haven’t been able to connect to my car for 2 weeks now.
Hopefully it might be working now, see other threads.
However, after my connection ‘issues’ over the last week I don’t think I am going to be an early adopter of a mega update.

car play does work wirelessly, you probabaly haven't connected it properly
I had it working with wired connection only. So you think it should work over blue tooth on a 2020 model?
