If you are keeping it in the car for travel then get the Tesla Mobile Connector. Compact and reasonably priced ($230). You will need a NACS to j-1772 adapter, but you should have one regardless for using Tesla destination chargers on the road.Hey folks,
With the current mobile charger being recalled, what's agreed upon best option for a mobile charger to keep in the car? Dealer is going to credit $750 for a charger.
Agree, I’ve used the Tesla mobile with adapter for years. Terrific and the case fits perfect in the frunk. If you are keeping it in the car for travel then get the Tesla Mobile Connector. The best value for money unit for us with CCS2 is the Tesla UMC. And then you buy a few extra plugs and you are set for many countries. Works great but is only single phase. Emergency use.Speaking of the PMC (Porsche Mobile Charger), I noticed that it no longer charges above 5.9 KW (3 phase, 400V, 14A should deliver about 9kw). Looks like one phase didn't go through...
Today I will test the public charger (up to 22kw) to see if the PMC is broken... hope the charging unit hasn't failed... again (they replaced it a month ago, under warranty) ?
If the PMC is broken (don't know if it's under warranty) I'll buy a mobile charger like @tigerbalm
(need to find the store link).

If I remember, I've seen Juice Booster on Amazon as well... but, first, I have to confirm if PMC is broken or not...
