The user name is from my teen years.... You are barking up the right tree though. ? ?Every crisis is an opportunity a wise man said.
Urology not my expertise. I am more into fractures and joint replacements.
Are you a gynecologist? Or do I have to give your name another interpretation ?
So that's the answer.....Update from my previous post in this thread: my Oct 2020 Taycan 4S (25k miles) has been in the shop since last week. Heard from the dealer today: they diagnosed and ordered the high voltage heater, but apparently Porsche canceled the order and told them the part was being re-engineered. No ETA. But this would seem to confirm that this is a widespread issue, and that Porsche is now aware of it and acting on it.
Good news: once fixed, I’ll now feel more confident in the permanence of the fix. Bad news: I guess I’m in this loaner Panamera for a while…
Further update - Wrong part fitted/arrived, the correct part has to come from Germany and won't be in till Tuesday/Wednesday next week, can't get a courtesy car till next Friday (and that was after a tantrum because it was originally the middle of feb) so I've got the car back with no heating till next Friday, and didn't have the car for 2 days while this was discovered.
Thank goodness I got 3 ferrero rocher and a bottle of fizzy water to compensate.
Joy ?

And how do you manage? Heated seats and steering wheel? Can you clear the windows?Further update - Kids ate the chocolates and the water has gone flat.
On the car, called yesterday to make sure the part had arrived and that I was okay to bring it in today, " Err, yes, yes that's fine.............let me just double check!" (1 min pause) "Actually no, no it's not arrived"
So after some foaming at the mouth it's booked in Thursday, almost 3 weeks driving a car with no heating in a Scottish winter, brilliant.
Yes basically; to be honest you'd be surprised at how much the seats alone can heat you, wearing a jacket obviously, but I work on/off construction sites so have a few layers on and some thick socks anyway. And how do you manage? Heated seats and steering wheel? Can you clear the windows?
where do you see "pre-heat" on any screen??... and pre-heat also greyed out on screen.

Further update, car went in last Thursday to have the valve fitted, guess what!? The heater has gone completely, no idea when I'm getting it back.Further update - Kids ate the chocolates and the water has gone flat.

My part came in Wed and the car is in the shop today getting it swapped out. Hopefully they get everyone's cars fixed soon.Has anyone gotten any updates? My car's heater broke in January and my dealer ordered the part but it has no ETA and it has been quite cold here in Colorado....
