Hello dear Taycan owners!
I saw at my local dealership the new 992 GT3RS and the mirror captured my attention in the way it was made. The upper part is carbon and the lower part is in the body colour and I decided it would be a great idea to do the same! But because carbon mirrors are so worthlessly expensive, I painted mine in Audi Schwarz, non metallic colour and the lower part in the original Porsche Weiss, everything being coated with 2 layers of clearcoat. Let me know if this little mod is pleasing to the eye or not and I encourage you to make yout Taycan even more “yours”, by adding these little stuff.
One last surprise is the key fob, we all know it is in this cheap plastic and I hated it, so I developed a colour in my laboratory to complement the Bordeaux Red interior. Because the part is so small, I did only one layer of clearcoat (yes, clearcoated, not just the paint).
you might know that I document everything I do with this car, so here is thr video with the dissasembling process (yes, I worked on it myself) and the final look of it!
