PIWIS Matrix coding - lost option

I hope someone knows this - I recently got help with MATRIX lights coding. It was successful but unfortunately now my front side markers won't stay ON when I unlock the car or drive the car during the daylight. They work fine as a turn signals but wont stay ON otherwise.

Anyone knows what option needs to be coded again to get them working as they did before matrix coding?

Thats with the car ON but both sidemarkers are OFF

Just got mine coded today and can confirm I see the same behavior: side markers do not turn on when headlights are on and do not turn on when initiating Parking Lights. They do work when left/right blinker engaged only. I assume this is how it works in Europe.

Yes, looks like. The guy wasn't able to code the sidemarkers back. Technically in US they should be ON I think all the time.... looked good too to have them ON when opening the car during the day.
Looks like you gain some you loose some but Matrix r awesome at night.

Also, looks like during the day when you open the car the front running lights wont stay ON too, only at night when you open the car they will stay ON. Another option that is different now.

I was certainly not expecting this. I am pretty sure there was a matching side marker light in the Rear Light Bar in the very corner facing to the side that does not light up any more. I asked the coder to see if he has any ideas to restore that.

I would guess, they coded your the euro version, which is the behavior. The side markers are only turn signals. Actually that is pretty good. I assumed both of you went to the guy in NZ. $800 for coding?

I used other guy from Instagram...was a cheaper option compared to NZ guy

I was going to ask you the same thing. My coder, Mars Saeran, just replied and said that the lights are loaded with EU datasets so this is the trade off. Let me know if your coder replies otherwise and what might be the instructions to restore side marker function to be on when Headlights are on or when in Parking Lights mode.

in the UK and Europe, always-on side markers (indicators) isn't a thing. They only come on when we indicate.

Yep, I got that. Unfortunately in US you need to have them and now with Mattix headlights activated I am not sure if its possible to have both.

Really appreciate you confirming. I am all about as much of the European thing as possible, but want to make sure this is not some kind of malfunction. Now I will be worried about the rear light bar and if the blinkers work, so will be testing that next.

Mars did mine last year on my J1.2 and that outcome is a little different. Matrix works perfectly but afterwards, my parking lights are always on. I can manually turn them off but only while parked. It’ll automatically come back on once I move. Ie, stoplight then drive again.
Side markers are always on as well as rear parking lights and my lit logo. Got used to it so I don’t mind.

Been pinged out the rear camera recall but afraid to take it in. One, don’t want any other issues created or the code overwritten to remove my setup.
