I have been experiencing the same problem for approximately three weeks. Every time I attempt to access any feature that requires a network connection, I receive a "Service currently not available" message. This issue prevents me from accessing weather updates, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, internet radio, remote climate control, and remotely unlocking or locking the doors.

I have contacted Porsche's customer support on two separate occasions but have only received an automated reply message with no further response. Despite attempting to reset the PCM and unsubscribing and resubscribing to services, none of these actions have successfully resolved the issue.

Hopefully, the issue will resolve itself, but in the meantime it would be nice if Porsche would attempt to help me resolve the issue.

Connect services have stopped working for me and the Connect store is not responding either. Anyone else in the UK seeing this?

I thought it was my iPhone software update I just did today - I had same isssue , it lasted about an hour after I continuously tinkered with car , it came back on its own like it usually does …

Another data point of USA back online here too-- yay! Side note: my friend's Tesla app also working again. So I still stand by AWS (Amazon Web Services) -- but maybe I just like to blame Bezos for sh~t LOL

So? Coincidence?

Yesterday I started pre-heating my car. Between the moment I started pre-heating and the next time I went in the app, Porsche service went down.

I went on an overnight trip so my car slept outside (vs usual garage).

My app was stuck on pre-heat until just about an hour ago when the service came back up. Of course the car was not actually pre-heating for that long.

I returned from my trip an hour and a half ago (before service was restored). I had an hour and fifteen minute drive home. Heat wasn’t working. This is my second winter, I figured I had escaped the heater failure but I thought maybe not.

I’m in New England so it’s cold now. After a little while I turned off the “heat” because it was blowing cold air and making the car colder. I tried turning on again still not working. I then tried turning on one last time and it started working. I then looked at my phone and noticed service was back up again.

I guess I will find out soon enough if my heater is really toast or not. It would sure be interesting if an outage caused my heat not to work.

Porsche/Audi app backend is poorly architected and implemented. I don't understand why they couldn't just copy Tesla and connect the app real time to the car - so much easier to get it working right when it's just the app talking directly to the car. The mildly challenging part is to interconnect the app and the car, but that's well known internet technology. Tesla did it using OpenVPN at first, then switched to web sockets to scale to a larger number of cars. Either approach would work for Porsche as they are not going to be shipping a million cars a year any time soon.

If they want people to pay £300 per year (?) for this after the initial new subscription, they need to up their service levels MASSIVELY.

Total lack of comms is not acceptable.

Mine was down as well for a few hours only. I called them and they told me it was down for a few days, to which I replied, "it was not, has only been down for a couple of hours". It's really annoying and I told them so (for what that's worth) that they do not post a notification that the system is down,, but instead post on your screen to go the connect store as if the issue is resolvable. I asked her to pass along the message that her bosses are idiots - a simple notice that the system was down and I would have just waited, instead you go down a fruitless task of persuing ways to correct the situation. This is not the first time with their connect services, hence the frustration.

Lol, you assumed someone actually designed the user experience. That's not the Porsche software way.
