Porsche Taycan Maxhaust EV Sound - Thoughts ? 👍🏽👎🏽

They released a new EV sound. I think it sounds kinda cool... better than the one from Porsche. What do you think?

I’m pretty unfamiliar with the stock sport sounds, but does this seem like the Porsche sport sound with a little more growl in the bass, with an addition of a high pitched “ghost flying around the room” sound?

I recall not liking ANY of the 15 (?) sounds that were available, but I think this one has potential. Not sure about the “ghost” part. Maybe swat down that ghost and it would be good.

Does it play through the same internal and external speakers of the car? Do you have to activate it every time you want to use it?

From their website it requires upgraded hardware (sound chamber / speakers) plus their own software module.

No, it is an additional external speaker that is added to the car.

No, you activated once and stays on as long as you're car is on. The app is simply for changing the sound or more advanced settings. But theoretically you don't even need it anymore after the set up, because you can even change volume and sound profiles with the existing buttons in your car. For example: "Double Tap cruise control"

I prefer the V8 sound a little more, but last time I posted here, people were asking for an EV specific sound.

Sorry to be rude, but it is pathetic.. and please don’t hold your phone while driving and put your seat belt on.

Sound is the one thing that shouldn’t get a mod on an EV. For me this is exactly the same as an adult with this “mod” on his bicycle:
