You clearly dont get the same results by a long shot either.

Gas/ petrol tuning is way LESS $
I disagree. If you want gas/petrol tuning that does not void the warranty you need a new swappable ECU just the same.
That needs immobilizer disabled and other things. It's actually way more expensive, because a new ECU for e.g. a Panamera costs over 1k, that's before tuning comes into it...
And even then even for a flash, if you look up the reputable companies then they charge you the same amount of money, except it does not include a new ecu.

$/hp this is still super cheap.
It's a low volume product, so to do all the development the price has to be like this.

I am sure there will be cheap options eventually where you can get the ECU in the car flashed with the Turbo S torque limiter and your warranty voided.
Never mind that it won't make any more power until 40km/h, but you can put a checkbox next to "tuned" on the list ;)

It seems I misunderstood the functionality. I have throttle filtering disabled on SportPlus, but enabled in Sport (your competitor's, Redshift, terminology). Sport, with filtering on, has a more aggressive throttle response than SportPlug (unfiltered) - i.e. I get more torque earlier in the throttle position in Sport. I was told the filtering is variable, i.e. learning. Is it fixed, and why would filtered seem more aggressive?
I have no idea what disaster is done there. There's nothing variable about it. Or what they even refer to when talking about "throttle filtering".

We bypass the antisurge damper entirely when there are sharp throttle movements and the powertrain is tensioned. So you get the response without the harshness and bucking. Optimal solution.

If you think gas petrol tuning is more expensive overall based on the results, you have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve tuned numerous AMG cars and Bentley’s for about half the price.
It is what it is

All of those are out of warranty or have their warranty void.
There's people flashing cars in parking lots for $300 these days. Your point?

I have tuned thousands of ICE cars on my dyno for over a decade:

I just stopped doing it because I have better things to do.

I mean, you can complain all you want about the price. You are free to do a better job for less. I always had one of the highest prices in the country and I was still often booked 2+ months full in advance.

You get what you pay for ;)

I paid about 103k for a brand new Taycan 4 optioned appropriately. 430 HP. I'll pay an additional 3k for MapEv and have a 900+ HP Taycan (if I understand it)that will perform like a lady when I need her to and a whore in the bedroom. In my book, it's a smoking deal

What’s your point?

I gained 200 hp with complete stock drivability.

A 2025 Taycan 4 gains 500 horsepower with no change in drivability.

Which gas car tune can do that?

Yes, you can get some nice gains on a turbo car with a canned tune. But it’s not even remotely close to the same power we are talking about and you also won’t drive like stock anymore. Tradeoffs…..

Gas/ petrol tuning is way LESS $
My Lap3 Stage 1.5 ECU tune for my Kia Stinger was $2700. TCU tune was $2k. Lap3 sent a separate OEM ECU & TCU much like MapEV does, thus why it costs so much. Not sure where you think gas tuning is way less unless you are talking about piggyback tuning, which isn't remotely the same thing. Oh, and it only added 100 hp, not 400 like this one.

Yeah that's ridiculous to say gas tuning is way less unless all you're doing is slapping on a generic chip on stock car.

Getting additional mods (supercharger/turbo, intercoolers, boost controllers, injectors, fuel pump) that require tuning, the tuning device or flash, dyno time is pretty deep into the several thousands if you want it done properly and get the same amount of gains as this for EVs.

I tuned 2 different Porsche 992 turbo at OE Tuning ans also used Eurocharged. If I remember correctly, it was about 1400 a few years back. Was quite happy with results from both.
