- 2023 Rivian R1T, 2020 Taycan 4S, 2016 McLaren 570S
5 years on and this whole setup still sucks. I've had my Taycan for 6 months and still am not sure which settings over ride others, or if my car will charge during a time slot, to a percentage or at all. Porsche really needs to look at how Rivian and Tesla do this, so much more intuitive and useful. This is the most frustrating part of the Taycan. Porsche needs to simplify this.
Let me set the battery limit, and the preferred charging window. No timers. Use the "Direct Charge" to go to 100% ASAP.
They over complicated this.
I would guess that nearly all the time, nearly all the drivers just want to be able to set the charging time window and stop when battery hits xx%.
