Still no Bose

So. I added bose back to my 4CT build a few days before lock date. The dealer said jt was ok... No idea what will turn up as there is a cross with circle on it.

This option is currently affected by supply restrictions - please check availability with your Porsche Centre

If your dealer has now processed your order (fully) then a check is made at that point and any shortfall will be highlighted as this is direct to the factory. If you got the green light on your spec after this then as I mentioned above you should be fine.

as you’re in Bath (I’m BoA), are you using Bristol or Swindon? Bristol have placed my order and advised there’s no issue with Bose for my car

The Bose system in the Taycan really isn't anything to lose sleep over. The HK system in my wife's mini runs laps around it for ⅓ of the price. Haven't tried the Burmeister but probably worth exploring if you really care about sound

I find the BOSE system in my taycan more than adequate. Not great but better than good. Full disclaimer: I am a challenged garage musician with a Bang & Olufsen Beosystem in the home.

I have ordered burmester for a GTS st in November 22. Now it stands at the dealer (Germany) without amplifier and nobody knows when the spare part will come. Be careful!

Was told no Bose last week.
Was told no Bose yesterday.
Today I've been told I can have it.

It's taken a number of discussions to get to this point, now I just need to hope it does get fitted to the car.

Yes, I mentioned I was aware others had been recently speccing and getting it and that others were now being allowed to spec it. Told him this was all over the Taycan forums.

He tried again (or maybe he just tried for the first time) and yes, I could have it.

Good news : I can have Bose.

Bad news : Lease repayments up over £220 a month since my original order a year ago. I did add Crayon but that was the only change to my original spec. Salary sacrifice reduces the blow slightly but not sure if I will proceed now.

did Lex recalculate the quotes? Looking at the tracker you placed the order a year ago so were they based on the previous model year prices?

Yes, so P11D value is up £3909, I was expecting that.
LEX have jacked up the cost of finance.

A similar thing happened to my wife, we order a Disco sport May 2021, waited 19 months, delivered at the dealer December 2022 and then oh, your price has gone up dramatically, take it or leave it.
We left it.
