If someone did successfully receive a buyback offer (not a trade for another car), I doubt you will hear about. Porsche routinely uses NDA's.

have reach an agreement for my buyback and am waiting for further directions. You are welcome to contact me directly for additional information. My car had been in the shop repetitively since new for a total of 87 days for a few minor issues that they just can't remedy. A few of these are.

1). Key Recognition.
2). A/C shuts off while driving.
3). PCM goes dark or stops working.
4). Doors will not stay locked when exiting.
5). Doors will lock/unlock when existing, sometimes 3 or 4 times.
6). Rear hatch issues, will not close.

These are all spontanious, they will not always occur and sometimes they remedy themselves for a while and return a month or two later. I was not comfortable owning this car out of warrant with all of this going on and honestly am sick and tired of having the car in service while driving a 4 cylinder Macan. I hate driving the loaner Macans, this gets old.

How does buyback works? Will they buy back with the full amount that you paid, or market value?

Don't blame you one bit. I had a Macan 4cyl for one week while they repaired my charging door and ports and it was surprisingly frustrating. This is quite a nightmare situation with Gen 1 vehicle values tanking and massive reliability concerns coming to light every day. I just read today that 27000 units are being recalled in November (in the US) for battery cell fire concerns and Porsche NA is recommending not to charge beyond 80%.... In my newsfeed this morning.

Worst part is that Porsche is doing absolutely nothing for us Gen 1 people as they make big leaps on Gen 2 cars further tanking our values. Maybe no worse than Ford and others but shockingly no better.

Not quite ... all U.S. Taycans will be recalled, but only to install software to monitor battery issues, and if something wrong is detected, then until it's fixed, the 80% limit might be imposed.

But if 80% limit will be imposed, would that not open for a class action in the US. That would not give the range that was stted in the sales contract!??

If imposed on a permanent basis, perhaps.
But that would be only an interim fix until modules are replaced.

For everybody or just the ones identified with troubles.

Typically class action lawsuits take years to resolve and the only winners are the attorneys. A more effective approach is to file an arbitration claim against Porsche. I did this regarding the cable for the battery charger .. If Porsche is hit with hundreds for arbitration claims regarding buyback this will affect how they deal with us. You don’t need an attorney and the process is paid for by Porsche ( see owners manual re arbitration). If Porsche tells me after next battery test I can’t charge over 80% then I will be filing a claim with them

This reminds me of the issue I went through with my GT3. A known defect in the finger follower design and manufacturing process was causing engines to misfire and become undriveable. A group of owners, lessees and other stakeholders formed an ad hoc group, Concerned Owners Group (COG). GT3 owners were recruited to join via the 991 GT3 forum on RL and by word of mouth. Once critical mass was obtained (it did not take exceptionally long), we were all asked for a donation to be made. I think a little over $5k was raised by the COG. This was done for two reasons, the first was to show Porsche our resolve and second, donate the funds to a good charity. At no time (that I am aware of) was litigation threatened or implied, but Porsche got the message.

A meeting with PCNA was requested by COG and granted. COG appointed a team to attend and negotiate with the senior management of PCNA. PCNA even flew in Dr. Frank Stefen-Walliser (responsible for the (“911” and “718”) to attend the meeting.

To make a long story short, PCNA offered, and COG accepted an extended engine warranty for 10 years or 120k miles (whichever came first), starting from the original warranty punch date. No lawyers, just some folks trying to resolve a problem. Frankly, I am surprised given all the recalls and problems rearing their ugly head years after the Taycan’s initial production that someone has not tried to spearhead a similar group. It might gain some traction and earn concessions from Porsche for all the hardship and diminution of value caused by the ongoing problems. Just think what an extended warranty of similar length and mileage would do for peace of mind and resale. Afterall, the Taycan is no different than the GT3. They are both halo cars - just different mobility sectors.

Arbitration for being offered compensation of up to $600 for replacement mobile L2 EVSE (which costs far less than that) or even hard-wired 48a EVSE (which was not explicitly offered, but I received a $600 check anyway for my Tesla Universal Wall Charger)?
Plus being allowed to keep the OEM EVSE in the meantime for L1 charging and 20a L2 charging (which is all I've ever had the opportunity to use it for anyway, and ditto for my wife's i4 OEM EVSE).

I did not arbitrate for $600. I took the position that Porsche charged me $1800 for a charger that was defective and mis represented the capabilities of the car. I cannot disclose the outcome due NDA but i was very satisfied with the outcome.
