This will be an AC onboard charger failure. At least in my case.
Fast routine service, most of the cars arrive to this stage, 22kW sooner 11kW later.

I think the problem is that the OP doesn’t haven’t enough miles on his car ?. In all seriousness, hope it was just a glitch that goes away with a reboot.

Won't be a glitch for sure. It is a first hope that goes away fast.
Luckily the car is drivable, low rate and DC charge is possible (in most cases).
These days AC onboard charger is on stock at most of the dealerships, and only 2-3 hours work.

But expensive out of warranty.

I was not charging, in fact I simply powered the car up to leave.

Power cycle fixed it and it ran fine.

Do I have a battery issue, or was it a random Taycan glitch? We will never know!

This is a sign of the dying AC onboard charger. My one disappeared many times in 1-2 months sometimes charged sometimes not, finally the yellow circle stayed and not accepted AC charge anymore.

For me, this error preceded the failure of the 22kw OBC by about 2 weeks. Error cleared after on/off, but total failure afterwards. My 4CT is in the shop now awaiting fix.
