I was not planning to extend the warranty on my 2021 Taycan. It is expensive and it seems to me that the "wear and tear" carve-out will become more relevant with the passage of time. Then again, repairing that thing is also expensive and there are voices here admonishing me not to own a Taycan without a warranty. There are sure many threads on this forum complaining about this malfunction or the other but my overall impression is that most complaints fall into the categories of 1) software malfunctions (like "cannot log into PCM"); 2) Recalls and 3) worries about the HV battery. None of these concerns are covered by the general warranty (I have 4 years left on the battery), so simple question to readers to help me make a decision:
When (in terms of "x months ago when my car was y months old") did you last successfully had what broken bit on your Taycan repaired on warranty?
Thank you.
