The 4S loaner I have with aero wheels indicates 285 at 100%. Far cry from my turbos range estimate of 205 at 100%

Wow - that's really encouraging!
I am not over excited.... This was a one-off.
And the previous day I had done about a 100 mile return trip in fairly slow traffic on A-roads... so the guess-o-meter adjusted in giving this high reading on the next charge. It was also the heatwave in that period, if I recall.

I don't drive in range mode, almost never. It has always been Normal mode or Sport.
I have tried flicking the dial between normal and range - and the guess-o-meter jumps by maybe +10 miles (so I just don't bother using range mode).

As long as I can get 220+ miles... I am content.

Let's see how it does over the winter months...

Taken prior to leaving JFK for the return trip. The Taycan can be driven efficiently if necessary.

You disagree with that? We've seen 294 advertised in our Turbo, drove it 270 of those miles, and still had 10% battery charge left.
I agree with irrelevant's range data/experience from his Turbo based on my own Turbo S data.

I only drive it in Individual mode (which is set to Sport Plus) and drive how I want to. Not based on a battery % or range anxiety i.e. I drive it like a Porsche. ?
(also if it matters I have the Carbon Fiber 21-inch Taycan Exclusive Design Set)

I have tracked my battery since the beginning as I want to see when my battery performance changes and have evidence to show Porsche as I have seen some scary stories posted on these forums where 100% drops from high 200s to barely 200.

~9500 miles driven so far and this chart I made has remained constant:

100%290
85%245
70%200
55%155
40%110
25%65
5%15

*some rounding going on for example 85% charge indicates 243 miles but as everyone knows the displayed range vs actual is a "guessometer" and is heavily influenced by your last drive. YMMV :CWL:

I have never seen my consumption ever go above 2.7 miles/kWh... and I just have a 4S... and I have done similar miles (~2,500)

3.3 miles/kWh in a Turbo !!!

I am feeling the same (but opposite) surprise about Caraholic above saying ~200 miles @ 100%??

The minute I see 200 @ 100% I am going to the dealer for a replacement battery.

2020 4S+ with 21 inch all season. With a new HV battery replacement installed in September 2023, I'm getting 275-280 miles at 100% this fall. I expect it to drop 10% - 15% as the weather gets colder.

It all depends on how and where you typically drive. Also, the miles/kWh function in the Taycan always overstates range.

290 miles is possible in a Taycan in perfect spec/conditions/driving style. But it’s not near typical for Taycan owners, and anyone paying attention to the many threads on this topic in here would know it. The vast majority of posters on here see less than 240 miles.

It's amazing how bad the transportation options are to/from JFK. The first 100 miles to JFK took 1:30, and the last 30 miles took 1:45. Hopefully AA continues to expand international flights from PHL, so we can be done with NYC.

To be fair, a big part of my profession is energy management, so it might be easier for me to operate at the end of the bell curve when the mission requires it.

... really surprised to see a range of only 220 miles when fully charged ...
As many others have said, the guess-o-meter range will improve as you drive. The amount of improvement depends on how you drive. Here's my latest tracking chart. Enjoy your Taycan!
