I am looking to get a charger and on various topics threads people have mentioned various chargers. Apologies if this has already had consensus.
I am comparing essentially these three all have good reviews on Amazon and a few negative one stars to various issues but overall low number.

Wallbox Pulsar
Auto Maxi Charger
Charge Home Flex

Or any others you would recommend that I could get on Amazon as there are a lot!?
Thank you.

PMCC (just wait for the reaction stateside!) - mine has been top quality over 2.5 years and wish I had 3 phases to push it if needed to 22kW.

I got the Juicebox 40. Have had absolutely no issues with it. Its got pretty good reviews on amazon, its one of the more popular chargers out there. Its a solid unit. Looks nice, has been around for awhile and lots of folks have had a chance to use it. Not a brand new product from a brand new company. Decent app that I never use. Cable is easy to use and storage is built directly into the box so it makes it convenient and gets it out of the way when you're not using it.

You say "Mobile" in your title, is this a charger to keep in the car? For that purpose, I bought a Tesla Mobile charger and a tesla-tap based on recommendations I read here. I bought a few different connectors with it (6-50, 14-30) to cover all bases while on the road.

It was SHOCKING how much lighter and manageable it was versus the Porsche charger that came with the car.

If you are asking about a stationary charger, the clipper creek unit we have is rock solid and seems like it will last longer then we will.

Thank you, my mistake I meant to say the charger that I'd keep in the garage.

JuiceBox 40 works great, looks good, and so far mine still looks new even after 16 months outside mounted to the house.

I also have the Juicebox 40 for 20 months. Works great no issues.

most of these can be ordered via amazon and will have it in less than 5 business days - $700 or less.

are all excellent choices - let pricing, style, warranty, availability (when can it ship) be your guide

don't sweat 14-50 or 6-50 plugs - adapters to switch between one or the other are easy/peasy - or simply get an electrician to swap the plug for you (or DIY if you're handy with basic home electrical jobs)

make sure to use the Hubble commercial/industrial grade socket recommend in writing by Porsche.

at the end of the day these are just simple on/off flow control switches - all the complex battery "charging" is handled by the on-board internal charger inside the vehicle (an EV charger (EVSE) has more in common theory wise with a simple digital water irrigation controller than you might believe - it just lets AC-power flow 100% under command from the vehicle - it's an on/off switch not much more) which is why it's so disappointing Porsche screwed theirs up.

3 months in you'll no longer care what you bought as long as it "just works".

if you're having an electrican come out - inquire about bumping your install to 60 amp breaker and hardwire junctionbox box and then purchase a 60 amp EVSE (48 amp charge rate) which will charge your Taycan faster (20% faster) than the normal 9.6 kW NEMA 14-50/6-50 EVSE's (50 amp breaker 40 amp charge rate) - since you're buying a "stay at home EVSE" no reason not to get a hardwired one and then you can charge a little faster - all the chargers listed above have 60/48 amp versions or the one version they sell can be adjusted/configured to match any breaker size.

Many thanks, great info. I already have the 14-50 plug to 50 breaker installed. Just wanting to move away from the Porsche wall charger.
