Today I received notice that the WSS4 Update was available for my 2021 4S. The full title was "WSS4 - High-voltage charger". Followed the OTA procedure and it installed without any issues.
I didn't recall reading about this OTA so I searched the Forum and honestly couldn't find anything. A bit surprising, but perhaps I just missed it. If I notice any changes I'll post those.
Attached below is a short summary from Perplexity regarding WSS4. I can't vouch for the accuracy, but it may be helpful.
If anyone has more specific information about WSS4 I'd appreciate it if you could point me at it.

Based on the available information, the "WSS4 High-Voltage Charger" is a specific workshop software campaign targeting the onboard charger (OBC) control unit in the Taycan. While detailed WSS4-specific release notes are not publicly documented, the nature of this update can be understood from related Porsche technical bulletins and campaign patterns.
Purpose of WSS4
WSS4 is part of Porsche's ongoing software maintenance for the high-voltage charging system. These campaigns typically address:

Purpose of WSS4
WSS4 is part of Porsche's ongoing software maintenance for the high-voltage charging system. These campaigns typically address:
- Robustness improvements to prevent intermittent charging faults and nuisance error messages
- Improved charging behavior stability, particularly for AC charging via the onboard charger
- Better preconditioning availability to optimize battery preparation for both AC and DC charging
Porsche has documented several OBC-related conditions in technical bulletins that software updates target:
- Fault code P31D200 ("Charging socket – overtemperature") that can cause intermittent charging stops, particularly with Mobile Charger Connect or Mobile Charger Plus hardware
- Temperature sensor logic refinements in the OBC that manages charging current based on connector and cable temperatures
- Communication improvements between the OBC and other high-voltage components like the battery control unit (BMCe) and high-voltage converter
