Where / how fies the sign-in procedure work?

Apologies for the Luddite question. I think I may be the only person on here who doesnt work in 'puters and find them a necessary evil and mostly a Pita ?

To make it simple: just sign in as a guest and then sign in as yourself.
That'll do it.

Settings -> Account.

I've seen ONA5 in Norway being an OTA-update (see my pic in my earlier posts).
Not sure if it's the update Porsche is presenting to us by email but it surely is an OTA-update.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with this anymore. And I feel for you guys that are still dealing with all these glitches and non user friendly situations.

The only thing I need is my front bumper PPF replaced.
Is this update going to do that?
Or, no?

I’m pretty sure Porsche promised PPF repair OTA. Their failures here thus far are astonishing.

Obviously, you didn't read my replies.
Not all cars are being updated prior to the server upgrade.
That's why there are two kinds of email, like I stated earlier.
These pics are (ironically) from rs38, posted on our Facebook group.
I think it's a valuable contribution to this discussion.

And I could not find a single tiny change in PCM. not even an increase in minor versions.

A new online software update is available for installation: Functional improvements PCM (ONA5)

Comfort and charging functions cannot be used during installation. Individual displays, control devices and functions that may be relevant to safety as well as individual driver assistance systems may not be available.

The installation takes about 30 minutes.

Car is at shop so if directed purely to vehicle I guess I cannot tell if I received it (don't think the app notifies of every OTA update) - will have to wait 'til I pick it up!
