home screen died

I started my car and the home screen is out - replaced with a glowing PORSCHE logo. I shut down and restarted a couple of times, still same problem.

Thoughts?

Have you tried the lock your vehicle with key fob and walk away for 30 minutes technique?
Has reset many issues on lots of Taycan owners vehicles.
Several threads on forum discuss this.

Better still - try the PCM reboot - two fingers over top right hand corner of screen - when prompted accept boot back to normal (quitting Engineering mode) and system will reboot - usually clears this type of error unless a more significant issue.

Didn’t work for me when I had this. It will probably just sort itself next time you drive it

Worked for me when I had it - and that was after doing the std lock and walk away which did not work that time - system was stuck/hanged in boot up mode. One or the other needed depending on state of boot process.

I use a Faraday box and it seems to stop the keys talking to the car.
