Sorry to hear. Interestingly, my TYD changed last night and noted that the vehicle arrived at my dealer! It has been "en route" for over a month (although sitting at the dealer storage).

Hopefully the MY24 delivery issues will not end up being part of the APB2 recall! I will know more tomorrow as I'll be at the dealer for a different car.
Update: confirmed with my dealer that MY24 stop sale was related to a software update not APB2. My car is being detailed for delivery tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. This gives some hope. I will know the status of my order in a week. Will post if anything changes.

Mine is showing the recall now too, not in the app but when you log into MyPorsche online. It took me as far as scheduling an appointment for it, but it will not show the recall as a reason, so I will just wait to set up appointment until the recall letters start showing up.

It was 1 day for delivery to the dealership yesterday. Just checked and it got pushed out for the third time and now the tentative date moves to October.

So I was supposed to pick up my GTS ST tomorrow but instead I have just received a sad news from the dealer. There is a stop delivery campaign in Porsche Switzerland and this includes my MY2023 GTS. Although I am very disappointed I do understand that this happened very last minute and I'd rather wait a bit more and have the vehicle checked and cleared than risking a battery failure.

Car was checked yesterday, it took 24 hrs. No issues found. Picking up tomorrow! ?

Mine is at the dealership for the recall. Apparently there is some new bulletin where Porsche wants to track each car affected by the recall. So what was planned as a one day pressure check is having its first delay already.

A quick update on this. I took my 2023 Taycan in for this, as it falls into the recall. After checking out the car, the next step is for the dealer to order the battery leak pressure test kit, which is estimated to take weeks. I’m not sure why they couldn’t proactively order the kit, but they told me they cannot until they collect and send the VAL to Porsche and the car is approved for the test. I’m also not sure whether the text kit is reusable, or a one time use (maybe I will ask next time I talk to them).

EDIT: worth mentioning that they don’t need to hang onto the car while waiting for the test kit, I will just take it back to the dealer when the kit arrives.

Yes Porsche wants to order the kit for each VIN to keep track of it. I got mine tested and back after a week.

A week does not sound right, but my dealer said they do not even have the instructions how to perform this recall. Could you share what they did from your workshop papers under the recall. My dealer is waiting on the kit as they mentioned they will be allocated on some basis to different dealerships but my parts department proactively ordered the pressure valve which is a one time use component in addition to.

Based on that document, it seems to indicate that there was ‘no’ sealant used on batteries prior to 2023? If they’re concerned about some ineffective sealant, should we be concerned about no sealant?
I have the same thing in France And a recall of my june 2023 gts Taycan. What they told us is that they have change the sealant and the new one is making this issue. So I think that there is an issue only for Taycan built from January to May 2023
Have à Nice day

I was told the same. They don't have instruction/equipment to perform this recall.

I don’t have any paperwork yet but what they do is that they use some port on the battery to screw in some part that they need to order per VIN and than they pressure test the battery for leakage.
