I actually think the ST/CT change is a bit worse...

That said, it's a change rather than being really bad and I think I'll get used to it!

This is the higher specs - the base ST actually is less of a change

Quite. I do think the original design is a little better though...and I don't think that will change

I guess I jumped a few steps, because I think the Turbo styling actually looks really good. It's a bit edgier and scifi-esque than the old styling, which I think really works here. Especially at an angle.

I agree that the base styling is a step down, though. I don't hate it, but it's not as iconic as the original Taycan.

Sports package looks good. Standard package now looks noticeably worse then the first gen.

Not a fan of that front end. Looks like a design change just to change.

I originally thought those pieces on the front of the Turbo were ‘cladding’ hiding what was to come!! Not a fan.
The prominent panel gap is odd an unattractive- does it have an aero function, maybe even an active adjustment?

I think the Turbo S styling has a cyborg like edge to it. To be fair it's quite fresh looking for that part of the segment. You don't see that styling often on cars.

That said, I'm not a fan of the other trims styling over the J1 I. Yeah maybe I'm still in denial if only partially. :p

Feels like they are creating more differences between base and top models to address the issue that they all look the same so why pay more.

Let's face it apart from brakes and badge all Taycan 1s are almost identical?

I've plugged my own spec (4S) into configurator and it's £5k more than I paid last month, that's a lot for a car that now looks like the base model.

That is a surprisingly small increase! I am surprised how small that difference is. There is so much more efficiency and new technology in the new car. Assuming of course the new technology will work better than the track record of the previous model!

It costs a lot more to buy new face lift Taycan! according today's Porsche website. Macan EV is cheaper to get.

Has that much actually changed?

I never use public charging so don’t care about that, 0.2 seconds less to 60mph is a rounding error and the majority of the mileage benefits comes from wheels (which look a lot worse) and new tyres?

Plus new looks are very boxy!

yes, I’m still in denial!
