Thanks for providing this software! Since you also want feedback, on the fullscreen view all the modules seem to be at 25 degrees C, although on the main view they show as 14-16 degrees.
Thank you, yes this is a known bug which will be fixed in the second beta release coming this weekend with many new features!

Bizarre it was possible all this time but Porsche just decided nobody gets the latests software. What the actual fuck is this. We bought 100K + cars but get Dacia-like aftercare
Classic Porsche. I kept saying it's same hardware and it works, but Porsche doesn't want to.

I cannot answer this nor be responsible for it.

There isn’t any specific orders from Porsche HQ to go around checking PCM versions to see if someone upgraded it at home and thus void their warranty.

BUT, the dealer can do whatever they want. Dealer can refuse warranty job at anytime they want. If you sued them they would have to prove that the modification you did caused whichever problem they are refusing to cover. But that already means going to court and yeah a massive headache.

So for cars with active warranty, yeah…
The dealer would first have to prove you, the customer, are the one that installed the software, and not them - and they do do updates, under the tables for the right amount of wine, it just takes them hours for some reason, hence I could never be bothered with waiting hours at the dealerships for them to do it...

Extremely healthy!
Forgot to add...

2022 (March) Taycan GTS ST.

Over 31k miles.

Mostly AC charged at around 6.4kW.

I typically run the battery until it's around the 20% mark, then charge up to around the 80% mark. Now and then it goes a bit lower and I'll charge up to 100% for longer trips or occasionally just for the hell of it :)

I've used DC charging maybe 10-12 times. Never used anything other than a 350kW charger when I have and the car's always been in a good enough position to get over 200kW charging when I've used these chargers.

(Not sure how useful any of this is :)).

If your battery is fine there may be a good chance it'll stay fine.
Your SoH will drop with age but there are good batteries you know, not only J1.2.
But yeah, everybody with a J1.1 wants J1.2 cells.

What do you think about this statement @ct14garage ?

Plenty of 2021-2024 9J1.1 batteries that will stay fine for many years.

2020 batteries tho Im convinced every single one if them is bound to fail!

Thx for your reply.
One more: Question about s/w version.
Is it worth installing it?
I mean, what issues are solved?
My car is doing fine so I'm wondering why I need the update.

PCM software update? It’s not needed at all. Just for those who want the latest features

If you're of that opinion, than likely it's not worth it for you.

EDIT: Here you can see some of the updates: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...-software-update-new-features-detailed.23055/

Nothing is "Fixed" per se, at least nothing "big". But there are many small improvments - apple maps directions in the screen behind the wheel, new color select wheel, new gauges for battery in the screen behind the wheel, new better max % charge menu, more options/filters in the charging planner, charging planner is faster/more optimised, etc.

I've seen it but not worth the hassle and probably avoiding curious questions from my dealer...

My car is a 2020.
I'm still waiting on my enet cable so I'm very curious what I'll see.
I guess I only have to use HPC and drive the car hard then to speed up the proces before my battery warranty runs out in 2028...?

It would be funny to see the battery is still fine in 2028 though...

Wasn’t your battery already repaired? Therefore it’s not “fine” anymore lol.

If they sent the VAL to Porsche HQ and Porsche HQ used LG’s AI Analaysis tool to flag and replace the defective modules then it shouldn’t fail again.

Since when is this avaliable?

I believe both me & Dee, and a bunch of other 2020 owners got their batteries "fixed" under ARA4, in december/Q4 last year. Don't think this AI software was a thing back then; the dealer never mentioned any VAL being sent anywhere, all the diagnosis was done locally at the dealer.

I will mention that even after having the battery fixed under ARA4, I still received ARB6 letter and ARB7 letter and then again ARB6 letter :))

Also waiting for my very cheap ENET cable from temu ?

Correct!
One or two modules were replaced in January under ARA4 but still ARB6/7 unresolved as per VIN check.

That's a comforting remark.
Thanks Cris.

@chun
Are you suggesting that J1.1 cars (with this latest PCM update) will get the additional functionality of Apple maps directions in dashboard or is this feature only available on J1.2?

@ct14garage : Could you please comment on this?

Thanks.
